Blue and green and aqua are such lush colours, especially when combined. Back to work today - only 310 emails to deal with. Yikes.
And now home after picking up L from his latest tattoo (he's crashed on the couch), and I'm hungry! So let's get 'er going. My first wear of this lovely handmade vintage 70s dress, purchased for $5.00 here this last weekend.
Cat-approved! |
This 70s polyester is...sweaty. Although good for an air-conditioned office.
The stuff:
The aqua shoes are not quite the same shade as the rich green in the tie and pattern and trim of the dress, but close enough. I last wore them here in May with long black leather.
Blue bling:
All the Wendy Brandes rings!
Dress (handmade, vintage 70s, thrifted), shoes (Prepare Guides, Fluevog), lapis lazuli and Fulvia Ring (Wendy Brandes), earrings (local).
I could not wear polyester with long sleeves, but at least you're able to jazz up your office in that dress. The rich colors are divine, and I love the matchy shoes. But next time with red? Yes, please - I'd love to see that!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress, and combined with these shoes... just a dream! Like your Matchy town. :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is definitely made for you x
ReplyDeleteThe colours are fab, blue and green is a great combination. But polyester... You're a brave woman, outside of the office it must be hot...
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and the vibe! Matchy town is cool, I like to visit there. 310 emails, ugh -- a slog for sure. xox
ReplyDeleteThe Seventies... now you're talking! My decade. I haven't (and probably never will) outgrow my fondness for the fashions of that era. They were imprinted on me at an impressionable age.
ReplyDeleteI can't go past your rings. Divine! Your not so bad yourself ;-)
ReplyDeleteAutocorrect...*you're* grr!
ReplyDeleteYou're wearing the new vintage 5.00 USD dress!
ReplyDeleteIt looks even better on, what a great find.
so cute dress and so Fabulous shoes (as usual!), gorgeous!
ReplyDelete(i'm a huge fan of trains to Matchy Town too, mwahaha)
