More circles and swirly patterns. And...the bad news. We found out tonight that our beloved kitty, Othello, has cancer. We love him dearly - we got him just before we got married, so he's just over 13 years old - and this is a huge blow to us. Since we don't have kids, he and Inigo are our little buddies. We're going to try to give him as much love as we can with the time we have left with him.

I've been reading your blog for awhile, but this is the first time I've left a comment. So sorry about Othello. My mom and I had to say goodbye to our 11-year-old cat last year - sad times. You gave him a good life!

Oh Sheila, I am so sorry about your kitty. It is very, very hard when they are sick or when they have to leave us. I may be a crazy cat lady, but my furry babies are a part of my family. I had my cat Jesse for 20 years, before my husband and kids, I was devastated when he passed away. Enjoy all the time you have left and know you gave him all the love you will. Blessings!

Our Tessio is 17 now, still healthy thank goodness, but we dread the day we will have to say good-bye. I'm sure you gave Othello a wonderful, happy life.
