Brown and Purple Top-Heavy

I felt very top-heavy in this outfit all day, probably because I only really saw myself from the waist up (bathroom mirror) and all could see was boobs.
Imagine my surprise when I saw myself before I took the photos and my legs actually look really long! I guess that's what you get when you wear a wide belt with more focus on the neckline - go figure, haha.
Yup, those are legs. This is my second wearing of my $4 Ann Taylor skirt from the Salvation Army. Man, I love a bargain!

The stuff:
Likely the last wear of these fab shoes until spring. *sigh* This belt is seriously getting thrashed and I think I've only worn it a couple of times - I wish it were leather or at least a little better made.

My lovely Myka jewelry:
So pretty. I love purple.

Jacket (Final Touch, thrifted), blouse (Esprit), skirt (Ann Taylor, thrifted), belt (gift from Mom), shoes (Franco Sarto), jewelry (Myka, gift from L).

  1. Yes you should show more of your fabulous legs. Great outfit.

  2. I think it's a good day when one sees nothing but boobs! :-)

  3. Check out those legs..girl!!!
whew..all the walking has paid off!

  4. I just LOVE every single part of this outfit! The shoes/belt/jewelry add a great touch, and I LOVE the jacket with that skirt. So cute!

  5. What a nice surprise to see those long, lovely legs when you got home, eh?

  6. I don't think you look top heavy at all. You look beautiful!. I really like the combo of the dark top with light bottom. The shoes are perfect with this as well.

  7. Fabulous outfit! Your legs do look miles long...I love this belt. It's too bad its wearing out so fast. And what an awesome skirt. For $4? Who could ask for anything better?

  8. Those colors all look great together! And yes, your legs do go all the way to the floor. :)

  9. I am loving every single one of your accessories !

  10. You may have seen boobs every time you looked in the mirror, but my eyes went straight to your skirt. It fits you to a T. You look so polished.

  11. Wow, I thought I'd responded yesterday, sorry, guys.

Thanks so much, Leah! I appreciate the compliment.

Ha, Wendy, you crack me up!

Thanks so much, Erin! You betcha - those legs are STRONG.

Thanks, FA! Not bad for a bunch of thrift stuff.

    Sal, totally! Like, whoa, legs!

Aw, thanks, Alison - this is one of those nice side effects from seeing myself more objectively in photos. Glad you like it, and thanks for the kind words.

Thanks, Kaylyn! Yes, I'm keeping my eyes peeled for a replacement for this belt. Such a score on the skirt!

    Londyn, I knew you would!

Kristen, thanks! Ha! that is one of my favourite comebacks.

    Eednic, I completely agree!

Thanks, Lorena, these are some of my favourites.

Tina, thanks so much. Aw, you are so nice. :)
