Back to work for one day, and what a doozy it was...but now it's over and the weekend is here.
I dressed for soothing, in this gauzy tulle skirt that I picked up on Wednesday.

It only rolled into my office chair's wheels a couple of times.
After that, I gathered it up into my lap while I typed.

I repaired the undone bit on the top yesterday as well, and I was excited to pair it with the skirt.
The browns are the same!

But I ended up HATING the top. It looks saggy on me, and it was a major snag-fest.
I managed not to rip it but off to the giveaway pile it goes.

Have a lovely weekend, my friends! I'll be back soon with tales of adventure!
You SELL your clothes to your friends?!! I have literally never heard of anybody doing anything besides give clothes to friends. Apparently things are way different here. And I’m old - I’ve heard a lot of stories.
ReplyDeleteI think the top and skirt look fabulous together, but before you even mentioned it I was thinking the top would snag like hell. Well, you did your best ... Glad to read the skirt only rolled into your office chair's wheels a couple of times. I guess Vizzini was photobombing you as he was trying to get his claws into it :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend Sheila! xxx
Shiela, I was going to say the crocheted top looks wonderful on you. But if you're not loving it, better to let it go. X
ReplyDeletePity the top didn't work out but if it already irritated you in wear no.1 then you would probably avoid wearing it- looked cute though!
ReplyDeleteThe tulle looks so preeeeeettty!!x
The top look lovely.. sorry it was such a disappointment.
ReplyDeleteOh don't we love tulle! I actually like the top too. But if it doesn't make you happy...
ReplyDeleteI actually think the top looks good on you, but I know exactly what you mean. It's no fun wearing something that you're constantly having to monitor your movements in. My biggest issue with tops like that is finding a decent fitting cami/body - and in the right colour. I read somewhere the other day that one high end clothing store has developed a range of layering pieces, which I think is an excellent idea!
ReplyDeleteI've been missing Vizzini - big love to you, my boy!
ReplyDeleteI know you won't mind saying it but I'm pleased you decided against the top. Love you in that leather trench and beret though, tres spy chic! xxx
