Loud Leopard Boss Pants and Black Satin

I am thrilled to have another pair of Boss Pants in my closet - I never would have guessed that this loud leopard would make me feel so happy.
I chose to ground all that with black.

  • Shirt - Madam Q, thrifted; purchased here for $14.95
  • Trousers - Gorman, consignment; purchased here for $125.00
  • Shoes - Summertime Moonbeams, Fluevog, consignment; last worn here (3rd outfit) with a leopard gown for a party in December 2022
  • Coat (below) - Mallia, consignment; last worn here in January

Brr! It was crisp and cold today.
I love the sliver of the moon above the Castle.

I picked the busiest day in the office to wear this outfit. "Wooo!" said Simona.
I gave a tour of the building to a new employee, so I got to stride about and give the trousers a good test.

Verdict: The pockets were good, love the high waist, and they are swoosh-tastic.
I paired them with this new-to-me black satin shirt.

Just because it's black doesn't mean it has to be boring.
What else would you wear with them? A colour? White?

You might have noticed that I'm not in pink or red for Valentine's Day. It actually completely slipped my mind!
But sending love and good vibes to all my readers out there, I see you! To my mom and L, and Vizzini and our family, all the love. To my dear friends, so much love.

Ah, that felt good.
As did walking with my loud leopard flashing out from my coat - so fun!

Accoutrements:
I burrowed up to my nose in the fur. Very cold out!

  • Hat - Delux, Saanich Fair
  • Scarf - thrifted
  • Gloves - Roeckl, consignment

The stuff:
I'm fond of these big clompy platforms. They are much comfier than they look.

Matchy bling:
I always wear that studded belt with these shoes.

  • Belt - Roxy, thrifted
  • Brooch/earrings - vintage 50s, Grandma S
  • Brutalist ring - vintage 70s, vintage mall

  4. Very spiff pants, flattering and funky! This outfit rocks but you asked what else we might wear with the pants so…a sweater (something along the lines of what you are wearing or proportionately loose or chunky) in either of the bright colors (the turquoise or green), or perhaps a color opposite either of those, in which case the shoes and accessories would match the color of the top.

    Happy Wednesday!

  8. I'm ever so slightly envious of your loud leopard trousers, and I think that black blouse works really well with them, especially with the brooch pinned at the neck. I love it that you've got a matching pair of earrings! xxx

  9. These are my favourite of your boss lady pants, you rock them! I love how statement making they are, very bossy pants indeed! I think pinks and cobalt would pair really nicely - maybe even yellow! I'm looking forward to seeing how you wear them in future :)
