Moths are my enemy - I steam most of my wool garments before and after wearing to kill off any lurkers, but it doesn't always work and sometimes I forget in the flurry of closet swap-over and get a nasty surprise six months later.

I'm happy to have this snuggly soft skirt back in rotation.
I had hoped it would be warm enough to take the jacket off to share my wings with my colleagues.
Nope, instead I just shared them with Vizzini, who plopped himself down for one picture in the morning.

I love the little bits of white trim on this top - it's a very stretchy knit.
It's been over a year since I wore it, though. Will it make the cut this year?

My proportions are a little off here, but ah well.
I felt good in it and it was comfortable! And that's all that really matters.

My sleeveless coat makes the skirt and jacket work better. Cute!
I had to tuck all my hair into the beret as I bore through a hailstorm that turned into solid rain on the way home.

I love the shoulder wings, what a shame nobody but us and Vizzini got the see them. xxxx
ReplyDeleteI love that knit, you should keep it. Lise
ReplyDeleteNobody but Vizzini, and us, obviously :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's such a gorgeous sweater, and it looks fabulous with your red cashmere skirt and stunner of a jacket. But oh dear, how dare those horrible moths make a whole right in the centre of the skirt! Glad you were able to mend it, though.
I'm loving all your red accoutrements, and I'm intrigued about the Scardigan! xxx
I love that flowered jacket.
ReplyDeleteLove the combination of red and black. A classic combo.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you've tried everything, but moths don't like strong smells. Bars of strong smelling soap or bunches of lavender in your closet are supposed to help. Just as well you have the skills to repair. x
