Kimono, Caramels and Dragons

Introducing my new kimono!
It's been tucked into the stash for spring summer - it was a mite chilly for winter and that is a very thin viscose.

  • Kimono - Apricot; purchased here for $29.99
  • Cashmere sweater - Prada, consignment; last worn here (2nd outfit) in January with psychedelic jeans
  • Trousers - Jacques Vert, thrifted; first seen here in November 2022 with a Desigual coat
  • Shoes - Yuko Imanishi; first worn here in January twice in different outfits

I do love the wings!
That's a well-balanced pattern on it.

I had not realized when I bought it that it had elasticated cuffs.
That was a bonus - no dragging in the sink or getting them caught on my desk.

I matched the teal and caramel ensemble to colours in the print.
The caramel sweater is my classy Prada cashmere, plus I have a cami on under that.

I'm not totally feeling these teal trousers, but they are great quality and have lovely big pockets.
I am looking forward to wearing my big swooshy caramel trousers (these ones) with this topper in the summer.

Speaking of caramel...Incognito outerwear!
A swishy soft coat felt just right.

Accoutrements:
The gloves were not long enough - my poor wrists were chilled!

  • Fur scarf - thrifted
  • Leather gloves - Ralph Lauren, consignment

The stuff:
I love these shoes - so comfy. More caramel.

Dragon bling:
My vintage dragon set matched the kimono perfectly!

  • Necklace/bracelet - vintage, vintage expo, gift from L
  • Shiny cuff - J. Crew, consignment
  • Crystal ring - Uffizi Gallery gift shop, Florence, Italy
  • Amber ring - c. 1996
  • Earrings - vintage mall

  1. That's a great topper and having elasticated cuffs that don't dangle in the sink is always a bonus!

  3. A mite chilly for Winter it might have been, but that is one fabulous outfit. I'm loving the pairing of teal and caramel and agree with Claire on the Kate Bush vibes! xxx

  4. Agree with Ivana Split, very earthy colors and I find the entire outfit grounding with a bit of pizzazz.makes me think of the transition from winter to spring or fall to winter.
