This outfit has all the Fs: funky, furry, fuchsia and fleece.
- Monster Vest - Kensie, thrifted; last worn here two way in January 2022
- Top - M by Missoni, thrifted; last seen here in November 2022 with another grey skirt
- Skirt - Eliza Faulkner, consignment; purchased here for $27/00
- Shoes - Truths Luisa, Fluevog; last worn here in August 2022 with lace zigzags
- Mink coat (below) - vintage, thrifted; last seen here in January
And it isn't that unflattering, although Monster Vest is a very bulky garment!
I wear it around the house because it's warm - it's gotten a lot more wear than my "last seen here" record would indicate.
A thinner vest would have been nice and sleek with this full fleece skirt, but I would have been much chillier in the office.

I did love wearing this skirt all day - it's seriously thick and blankety.
Showing off the pockets. The white fleece inside stuck to my tights (a kazillion little white balls!), and I was glad I'd worn a vintage full slip under all of this.

Outerwear - shocker, I busted out the mink.
I tried one of my long wool coats, but they weren't warm enough. When the temps are in the negatives, I'm spoiled for my vintage fur.

Those shoes are amazing - very 18th century!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, L!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks deliciously cosy. Those shoes are amazing and I bet you can't keep Vizzini of you when you wear that fuzzy gilet. xxx
I'm sorry to hear L. has been under the weather. Sending him well wishes!
ReplyDeleteSwooning over your skirt, and who needs the F from flattering if one has pockets! It does look flattering enough to me, by the way. It's lovely to see Monster Vest and can almost feel its warmth through my screen. Those shoes are absolutely amazing!
Have a lovely weekend, Sheila! xxx
I like the prinks with the grey of that cosy skirt! And the vest and fur seem like essentials when it gets as cold as it does for you! I hope that L is feeling better soon and keeps his germs to himself, haha!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to L! I think the monster vest looks great! The blanket skirt is brilliant too. With the mink as well, you are the queen of lovely fabrics!
ReplyDeleteKezzie xx
You gotta love thick and blankety skirts (or dresses) with this weather. Here the sun is shining but the East wind is blowing, making it soooo cold.
