If I'd been with an office full of people, I probably would have worn a jacket to hide the utterly boring back.
Yes, because I'm not ever seen from the rear - don't bother putting anything there!

I noticed in the elevators that it made disco ball reflections, so I danced every time I had to run an errand. It made me feel happy.
Two gents from the 12th floor joined me, and I also boogied with my Purolator delivery dude, and the security guard. Spreading a little disco joy.

This is the first time I've worn my vintage slip-pants that I thrifted from the here Patch in August. I paid $14.95 for them.
They were perfect under these wool trousers. They kept me warm and my pants didn't crease as much. LOVE.

Masked up.
After work, I did some of my Christmas shopping. I'm done now, except for a few more things for L, which I'll do on the weekend.

Outerwear - of course, I could not resist wearing my Six Foot coat...and my Alexander McQueen scarf also gets it very first wearing.
I feel like a boss in the trousers, and totally large and in charge in this outfit while I shopped.

It had many admirers and was a joy to wear - warm and soft. I think the black sections are cashmere and the pink is wool - they definitely feel like it.
I did have my white Doc Marten on (I don't wear good shoes out in the weather).

Accoutrements:
I hadn't worn the scarf as it's very much in my spring/summer wardrobe colours - I'm sure I'll wear it a ton then.

Slip pants?! I've never even heard of such a garment. I'd wear them in a New York minute. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a vision even for shopping. I need to invest more in myself. That coat was made for you 100%.
ReplyDeleteDisco-tastic! I bet the reflection in the lift was mesmerising, I think I';d have found excuses to keep riding it all day long.
ReplyDeleteHow fab is the back (and the front!) of the coat!
Have a fabulous weekend, my lovely friend. xxx
Fantastic outfit, Sheila! No wonder people were inclined to boogie with you. I love all the pops of hot pink, and that coat is even more stunning on! I think I need a pair of slip-pants now, how utterly frivolous! Have a great weekend, my dear! xxx
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how you've worn that scarf for the first time! It is a great pop! And I really like the fact that you danced around in your sequins - just such a fun outfit! :)

ReplyDeleteThe "Six-Foot" coat is one of the nicest wool coats I've ever seen, and the way the pink panels are places, you definitely look six feet tall! A great score.
ReplyDeletePettipants!!! I've never seen them that long; they're fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThree massive cheers for garments and outfits that not only spark joy but to so to the point that we cannot help but dance with glee.
