Woo, busy day! I was happy for this easy outfit.
The top reminded me of white peaches - I saw some in the grocery store on the weekend.- Sweater - Jaeger, thrifted; last worn here for Winesday in June
- Skirt - Alfred Sung, vintage 80s, consignment; last seen here in September 2014 with leaves
- Shoes - Poetic Licence; last worn here (3rd outfit) with a black backless dress for a Christmas party
I liked how the t-shirt shape of the sweater worked with the long necklace and the shiny green lace skirt.
The shoes were good for most of the day, but I swapped 'em for my runners by 2pm (I had to go to the other office anyway, and wasn't going to walk there in these!).
The stuff:
I love these shoes! My fuzzy Kermit shoes always get rave reviews. I nearly missed that one of the stones broke off - thankfully I spotted it on the sidewalk and grabbed it. A quick hit from my trusty glue gun, and they are fixed. Phew!
Green and gold bling:
One of my coworkers wore a chunky chain necklace yesterday and it reminded me I had this one.
- Green glass bead necklace - vintage 70s, Mom's
- Gold chain - consignment store $10 grab bag
- Bangle - thrifted
The sky is still white out, although we are getting sun through the smoke now - I miss seeing all that bright blue! Check it out: my favourite website, IO9, featured a story about my neck of the woods. Link here. That big white glob under the word "smoke"? That's where I live.
It's crazy that there is so much smoke, and that it has hung around for so long for you! Hope Vizzini isn't getting upset by it!
ReplyDeleteOn an outfit note - I really like your sparkly shirt, perfect with the Kermit shoes! :)
Thanks so much for joining in the link up too - those pants were the perfect outfit to link up with!
Fabulous outfit! I love how harmonious peach and green play together. They're not seen often enough, IMO, in the fashion world and that's a real shame because as you demonstrate here so beautifully, they're sublime as style mates.

Wow, the smoke area is huge! I could not see your house under all that. Stay safe and fabulous, - patti
ReplyDeleteYou are the Queen of Fashion. You should have a throne and tiara.
ReplyDeleteThat's a loooot of smoke ! wow …
ReplyDeleteI love this colour combo - and of course you know I am a fan of the Kermit shoes.
Hope the smoke cover dissipates soon. That is a lovely colour combination!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours, especially love the green.
ReplyDeleteThe fires and smoke sound pretty awful.
Hoping to be commenting a little more often if possible - I hate feeling out of the loop! xxx
