Blossom Pink and Thanks, Sal!

Ah, Friday...my mouth feels better, spring is in the air, and the week is over.
Time for pink!

  • Dress - I'M Isola Marras; last seen here (2nd outfit) in November 2014 with black studs
  • Shoes - Anne Klein, thrifted; purchased here for $22.50

Before I forget, a thank you to Sal over at Already Pretty for the shout-out in her weekly "Lovely Links." They were spectacular leather pants, hee hee.
I was tickled pink (ha! I kill me!) with today's ensemble. It's hard to see, but I'm wearing pale pink fishnet tights and they really helped ground this on the light side instead of going dark, like the last time I wore this dress.
It's such a fabulous dress. This was the first time I've worn it to work, and I had many oohs and ahhs over it. It was like wearing pajamas all day.

The stuff:
My city is full of Japanese cherry and plum trees, and they are just starting to bloom. They smell heavenly (although cause allergies in many people). These shoes are the exact colour of the blooms out right now. They were perfect on their inaugural wear, and are softening up and shaping to my feet very nicely.

Assorted bling:
My new-to-me dragonfly cuff's first wear.

Dragonfly cuff: Catalyst Reaction Leather - thrifted
Purple cuff - thrifted
Crystal ring - Uffizi Gallery gift shop
Abstract ring - POLY, consignment
Earrings - local

I have many adventures planned in the near future and will be back on Monday for a mondo-wrap up! Have a lovely, relaxing weekend.

  2. Love the pale pink fishnets! Fishnets, especially nude ones, are a go-to for me when I want to wear hosiery, but don't want to feel/look to formal or conservative or something.
