Well, today was not as awful as expected. On the other hand, it was still really busy. If I could have stayed late tonight to work, I would have.
But I can't - gotta go do my WW meeting in 20 minute, so here we go!- Blouse - Club Monaco, thrifted; purchased here in January for $3.25
- Skirt - J. Michael, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here in January with pink and blue
- Shoes - Coffee Sumatra, Fluevog; last worn way back here in March 2014 with perfect pink
Although I like the pattern of this blouse - it reminds me of galaxies and stars - the neckline was fussy and kept exposing my bra strap and camisole strap on one shoulder. After tonight, in the giveaway pile it goes. I got my $3.25's worth!
Love this skirt - it's heaven to wear. There is something about a red pencil skirt that rings all the bells.
The stuff:
I'm shocked that I haven't worn these since last March! That's an egregious oversight. Must wear them again soon.
Boring bling:
I planned outfits for a couple of weeks in a flurry over the weekend, but neglected my accessories.
- Belt - Bianca Nygard
- Earrings - don't remember
Just enough time to grab some yoghurt, and then off I go!
I was thinking stars and galaxies too, Sheila, when I saw that fab top. Glad your first day back to work wasn't too too awful. XO
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely top, shame that it isn't as nice to wear as it is to look at, but like you said it wasn't too expensive of a mistake to buy! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like it paired with the red too. Hope the rest of your day is not as busy! :)
Shame about the blouse, it looks lovely with the red skirt. Good to know you survived being back at work! xxx
ReplyDeletePitty about the top, I was just going to compliment it.
ReplyDeleteThought you could layer a sleeveless button down beneath it..
