Monday, my old foe!
Fortunately, I was prepared! I was in Brownies and Girl Guides for years! I had all kinds of badges...I'm sure one of them was for defeating Mondays.
- Cardigan - Conrad C., thrifted; purchased here for $12.50
- Dress - Savvie; last worn here in June 2014 with mixed metal
- Boots - Marc; last seen here (2nd outfit) in December 2014
I love this little cardigan - it's not as heavy as a jacket, it covers my arms and shoulders, but it doesn't completely swamp my outfit.
This is such a comfy dress - big roomy pockets, great colour, fun style.
These remain one of my favourite pairs of boots, top 5 for sure. Incredibly comfortable.
This is my first wear of this Shi Studio belt - they make interchangeable belts and buckles. I bought the necklace directly from a sample sale many years ago. It's a similar glass-topped fabric to the belt.
- Belt/buckle - Shi Studio, thrifted
- Necklace - Shi Studio
- Cuff - thrifted
- Earrings - Glee
I've just finished dyeing my hair after the gym (taking care of myself). Time for some "Antiques Roadshow"!
Very appealing, for Monday or any time! The boots are art - love them. Love Antiques Roadshow too, although I never believe the people who say, "I had no idea what it's worth!" xoxReplyDelete
Those are some damn fine boots! Thanks for your comment on my latest post - I'm happy to be your hair inspiration ;)ReplyDelete
Sometimes, all you need are a comfy frock and cool boots, perfect to beat the Monday blues! xxxReplyDelete
I love the outfit, especially the boots. Question: When you watch Antiques Roadshow, who usually comes closest to guessing the appraised value, you or L?ReplyDelete
Melanie, AR is a solo viewing for me - not to L's taste! I like to try to guess the value, but I love just looking at everything.ReplyDelete
Purple and blue look so good together.ReplyDelete
Today is monday and I had to practically drag myself to work.
I was never a girl scout BUT i loved their cookies.
