Another short week for me! As is my wont, I take a couple of days off around L's birthday to hang out and be merry with him. I am looking forward to Thursday, as we are going to see an art opening that our friend Elaine is in, as well as do dinner with a bunch of friends. Things to look forward to...here). We've been having typical spring weather (rain, wind, cloudy, sunny...just wait 10 minutes and it changes), so I ventured to wear long sleeves (plus I'm still spotted, so wanted to cover them up).
I wore this green tweed flower-embellished skirt three times in the May 2012 capsule (recap here), although I had to actually look it up in my handy-dandy spreadsheets to double-check. I must be getting old...
here with zebra stripes.
My Wendy Brandes rings for extra-super-powers! They worked - I kicked butt at the gym tonight!
Blouse (Melanie Lynne, consignment), cami (Reitman's), skirt (mystery brand, thrifted), shoes (Senscha Teapots, Fluevogs), belt (locally-made), necklace (Foxy), lapis lazuli ring/Fulvia ring (Wendy Brandes).
Your teapots look like they're holding up really well. Sounds like you've got some major fun planned.ReplyDelete
I'm impressed that you have a spreadsheet and can look up what you wore so long ago. I love the shoes--I keep looking for a good pair of thrifted t-straps. So far they have eluded me.ReplyDelete
I really like the blue satin paired with the olive green skirt. The contrast in color and texture makes for an interesting (in a good way) outfit!ReplyDelete
Woohoo for good gym days! I had one too!ReplyDelete
Really like the burgundy, blue and green together :)ReplyDelete
Hope L has a lovely birthday!
Wow! I love the azure top with your purple glasses and the burgundy shoes/obi. Such a pretty jewel tone.ReplyDelete
Am I slow to realize that you always wow me with your shoe choices?ReplyDelete
Love too many of them- and how you are good at mixing up colors and proportions- I think I'm due to play with a long skirt- inspired by Vix and you.
Cobalt blue, olive, and burgundy--anothe Sheila color combo for my inspiration files!!ReplyDelete
love this outfit!!
Ślicznie wyglądasz a buty i spódnica są cudne:)))Pozdrawiam serdecznieReplyDelete
Your plans with L sound fun, I am great believer in Birthday Fuss. Lovely jewel colours in this outfit...ReplyDelete
I like how you choose clothes that have some sort of art through prints, embroidery etcReplyDelete
You look amazing in your blue satin blouse and pairs well with the skirt. I like the feel of satin but it is difficult pull off with outfits. Do you get any peeking between the buttons on the chest line. It seems a hot style of shirtReplyDelete
That blouse looks amazing. Like you hot shiny blouse paired with the skirt. satin is so hard to pull off.ReplyDelete
