I was quite proud of myself for not wearing a single neutral today! I wore the same green shirt as Monday, and then once I thought of wearing the scarf as a belt, the blue shoes fell into place.
Ooh, I almost forgot: I'm actually wearing a camisole underneath my shirt (I'm not counting that as cheating, since you can't see it). It is so freaking NOT summer here...grrr...
The stuff: This is also the perfect opportunity to wear my peacock feather earrings for the first time - I've been wanting a pair of these since I saw Kasmira sporting them. I didn't really like my pair, but last night while I was choosing accessories, I decided to trim all the excess feather off the bottoms so that they looked more rounded and not all straggly.
Blouse (Esprit), skirt (Club Monaco, consignment), shoes (Feet First), scarf (Dad's, vintage 1960s), ring (the Louvre).
Eee! That yellow skirt is gorgeous~ It's so cute. I love it with the bright blue shoes. You look awesome!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what other outfits you come up with. The people doing the double challenge have an interesting week ahead of them. =D
So very pretty.
ReplyDeleteIts amazing how many colors you are wearing and how you brought them all together with the scarf and the earrings.
Wish I could send you some of the hot weather we have here !
The weather here is really dull and grey - your otfit has brightened it all up. I am impressed with your double challenege.
ReplyDeleteYou look so good in that skirt ..love the ring ...love Jan xx
ReplyDeleteLove the unexpected bright blue from those great pumps.
ReplyDeleteAw, you're so much better at the cheating than I am! No one would have known! I should have also tried the not wearing neutral challenge. My outfit today looks pretty monotonous compared to this one!
ReplyDeleteI love all the colors in this outfit! And those earrings are just gorgeous! I want a pair like this!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt looks perfect on you! Fitted and gorgeous, clearly that's what R must have meant.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is a perfect fit.
ReplyDeleteThat yellow is divine!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite color combos from you; it's an eclectic mix but it really works, and I love the peacock feathers and scarf that pull it all together.
Thanks, Megan, I love it too. It's been an interesting week, doing two challenges!
ReplyDeleteLorena, thanks! I would love some hot weather - please send it!
