Funky Friday: Return of the Spanish Ladies

Woo-ee! It's the weekend! This calls for something special.
Spanish ladies, perhaps?

  • Cardigan - Gap, thrifted; last worn here just a few days ago with citrus and houndstooth
  • Dress - Lirub; last seen here in August 2015 with the same cami, belt and earrings
  • Shoes - Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog; last worn here a week ago with loads of colour

Those of you who've been reading for a few years will remember this dress - it's very memorable! It's a favourite that I bought in Camden Market when I went to London with L and Mom back in 2010 (go here to see the first time I wore it).

This is what it looks like without the cardi (I wore the cardi all day).
It's such a cool dress.
Funny, last year the length bothered me a bit - it felt too long. This year, I'm totally fine with it.

Outerwear? Outer-there!
I am determined to not have my hair fade in the sun this year. Hatted, I am.

The stuff:
Great galloping orange shoes!

Blue bling:
All the blue. Must wear all of it!

  • Belt - Danier Leather
  • Earrings - local
  • Fulvia Ring/lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes

I'll be back on Sunday - I have lots of fun things planned...Ultimate, brunch, theatre and a shopping expedition. Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. I think my favourite thing about this dress is how colourful you can be when you were it Sheila - I haven't seen any bright accessories look odd with it, it's just so re-wearable.

  6. I LOOOVE that dress, and it's even more cool because you bought it in a Vacation Destination, which add lots of extra points. Great jacket and hat with it too. I don't think you are restricted with colour choices for accessories, not that you ever are, thank goodness. Have a great weekend.

  9. YESSSS! Colors, style, accessories, the whole outfit is exactly the type I LOVE for bringing smiles, body love, a bit of zowie, tailored but not really, it's just PERFECT! You wear it all with aplomb. If you ever find yourself wanting to give parts away, I would seriously buy them from you. Okay, don't mean to sound like a style stalker! It's just that many of the outfits you style and post are ones that you model so lovely, that speak to my sense of style – a sense of style that I rarely get around to satisfying. Cheers, Laurie

    1. Ha, I don't sell my clothes - I give them away first to friends, then coworkers, then charity, but I'm hugely flattered that you're enjoying my taste. Thank you!
