Oh, that colour! Yeah, I've never been one to shy away from wearing colours. All the colours!
One of our clients today said, "You're really not afraid of colour, are you?"- Cashmere sweater - Lord & Taylor, thrifted; last seen here in August 2015 with more cashmere
- Skirt - Chia, vintage 80s, thrifted; last worn here in June 2015 with an 80s diamond top
- Shoes - Big Presence Desmond, Fluevog; last seen here in February with a scuba skirt
I'm happy that this skirt fits me better (not as tight). It was really too warm for cashmere and leather today, though!
How do you feel about all this colour? There's not a neutral on me! Would you wear this? Parts of it with other neutrals (black, white, etc.)?
The stuff:
Sweet orange shoes! These are starting to show some wear, but then I do wear them a lot.
Pink and orange and purple and silver bling:
And I just so happened to have a scarf that matched everything perfectly!
- Scarf - thrifted
- Belt - vintage, thrifted
- Cuff - thrifted
- Earrings - gift from Lise
I'll be back tomorrow - I have a fun Funky Friday outfit all ready to go!
This is an amazing outfit. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on fashion and colour is a big part of how you dress.
ReplyDeleteSpring flowers are in bloom and you are dressing very artistically...your readers may want some tips on how they too can embrace colour in their wardrobes....
Thank you! Nah, I'm not a "tips and tricks" blog. Not my thing. :)
DeleteSpectacular colors !
ReplyDeleteFor most of my life I stayed away from color. I felt it drew attention I did not want on me. So I avoided it.
Nowadays I make an effort to add color...
Good for you, Lorena!
DeleteWell you know me Sheila, I'd wear all of this, just as you've done, in a heartbeat! Cashmere and leather, how very sexy. The skirt fits you beautifully, and those orange shoes are divine daaaaahling! That neckerchief was a clever finishing stroke too.

How did you respond to that, you're not afraid of colour, are you? Do I scare you? You SHOULD be afraid....? Wait until you see my coat...? I LOVE this outfit. You are READY!
ReplyDeleteHa, I said, "Heck, no!"
DeleteI love how you are unafraid of colour! It encourages me to try and wear different colours and combinations. I'm sure the first time I ever wore orange and purple together it was a direct result of an outfit you'd worn!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool - thank you, Mica!
DeleteLove it! All the colors adore you, and you look fab. xox
