I'll Wear White If I Want, Thank You - with Teal and Red

Okay, I'm done - done the newsletter, done with this week, and just done with being on the computer. I want to go watch football! Go, Seahawks! (Although yes, I cheer for the Carolina Panthers, but I've gotta root for the local team).
I'm so glad that we live in an era when fashion "rules" are viewed as somewhat silly. Not to say that we don't have other silly rules...but that's a different blog altogether.

Clothes! I love this teal sweater - it's a very fine sweater, as in fine vs. chunky. I like thin sweaters like this as they don't overwhelm my boobular region. I need no help there. I last wore this sweater here (2nd outfit) in May while rockin' the pomp for Winesday.
The skirt is the real star, albeit a tarnished one. Every time I wear it another little hole gets ripped in the cutout pattern. *Sigh* Can someone please wave a magic wand and turn this into leather instead of PVC?
I last wore it here in May with red and purple.

The stuff:
My red Miz Mooz slingbacks will be packed away in a few weeks. They were last seen here in August with tomato and magenta.

Red bling:
Blurry, like me! I do love my "suite" of red accessories!

Sweater (Kenneth Cole, consignment), skirt (Lord & Taylor, gift from my mother-in-law), shoes (Miz Mooz, consignment), belt (Plum), cuff (Rimanchik), earrings (local), ring (Oscar & Libby's).

L and I are off to a show tomorrow night, then have plans all weekend. I need to get my Hat Attack on! Have a great weekend, everyone! See you on Sunday.

  2. Great skirt. Although I can imagine it deteriorating over time due to its fragile construction. Hope all's well on the west side of the continent.

  3. Beautiful outfit with all the texture and color! I love the teal with dark red, and the ivory skirt really makes the colors look especially rich.

  5. What a fabulous outfit! I too love a thin sweater and this one has a beautiful drape. I love the whole silhouette of this outfit and teal with red is just gorgeous! My trip to Victoria is looking more like October now. :( I'd say the trip is definite but the timing is quite uncertain. So many obstacles keep popping up.

  8. This outfit looks amazing on you! This silhouette seems very flattering and teal is my favorite color. I should try combining with dark red too.

I too wish there was a magic wand for converting certain items.
