I knew how it fit from trying it on at Turnabout with a couple of different bottoms, and it definitely looked better with a long, full partner. I have Ideas for its next outfit!
I did pre-plan this look on one of my last "Play in the Closet" sessions. I thought the white shirt under it opened up possibilities for office styling, although at some point I'll have to wear it solo (I can't waste those bra strap holders!).
The denim fin down the front amused me - I waved it at colleague Glenn.
Any solid colour bottom would work with this, but I thought the chartreuse skewed more summery.

Incognito. Dressing for hot weather is always challenging. It was a mere 13 degrees this morning on my walk to work, but a raging 29 on the way home, eight hours later.

Am always amused at the impact of color. In this case the chartreuse pants gave my eyes the impression that there are thin lines of the same color in the florals of the denim/brocade vest/tunic, making for a perfect pairing. The white collared top (am often impressed at the crisp color of your whites!) gives a potentially funky top a taste of classic. You come up with interesting outfits and are willing to try interesting pieces; it is one of the reasons (among many!) I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts. Looking forward to seeing the top in a future outfit.
