Retro Etro and Long Grey Vest

Another day, another Jammy Dress! This time, I layered a long vest with it.
Like yesterday's dress, this one is also by Etro - but this one is much older.

  • Dress - Etro, vintage 90s, thrifted; last worn here in June 2021 with a silver shrug
  • Vest - Pink Martini, consignment; last seen and Flashbacked here in February
  • Shoes - Garden of Enjoyment Rita, Fluevog; last worn here in July with my Firecracker dress

This slinky number is from the 90s.
It's two layers of the same oversized paisley print and sewn all wonky - the ties are all one piece with the dress.

The fabric is a polyamide/elastane blend - it was made in Italy, and the print has tiny "Etro"s all over it.
This is this dress's 10th outing, bringing me down to 60 cents per wear - yup, I paid $6.00 for Etro!

The vest was nice - that little extra warmth was welcome.
Back to clouds and wind.

Masked up.
I matched the grey to the vest for the office.

  • Mask - Lazy Susan's

Incognito.
No one will recognize me!

The stuff:
Sweet shoes, eh? I've had them nearly 10 years.

Silver and steel bling:
I also wore my Scotland ring, but forgot to take it off for the pic.

  • Steel cuff - thrifted
  • Silver etched cuff - vintage, thrifted, Powell River
  • Silver earrings - consignment
  • Lapis lazuli ring/Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes

  2. Loving the slinky Etro number! Its print is so groovy, and the fabric content makes it the ultimate jammy dress. The long grey vest is perfect with it and matches the silver and steel bling as well.
Please send clouds and wind. It's 35°C and full on sunshine here. I'm melting! xxx

I'm sending cool ocean breezes - it's been dipping down to 13 overnight here!

    1. Sorry, Nancy, there's not much I can do about this - it's not my decision or control.

      Thank you!

  4. I really like those shoes. I have had dress shoes for that long and eventually the soles give way and I have to get rid of them. It is always sad.
