Yup, I'm sick, but I am refusing to BE sick, mostly by taking sickness drugs to mask it and just doing whatever it takes to get through the day. I can do this!
Today's outfit - well, I finally put a little effort into making an outfit, so I was pleased with it. I built it around my new-to-me butterfly skirt.- Jacket - Brooks Brothers, thrifted; last seen here in October 2017 with cream for autumn
- Blouse (under) - Jacob, thrifted; last worn here in October 2017 with embroidered florals
- Skirt - BCBG Max Azria, consignment; purchased here for $20.00
- Shoes - Gentle Souls; last worn here in July 2017 with grey ruffles
- Coat (below) - Zara, gift from Dominique; last seen here in November 2017
I know, right? Look at my legs! I didn't actually know they looked this good till I saw the pictures.
I really love the soft pink of this jacket - it went well with the bits of pink in the skirt. It also brings a bit of class to the snug, short skirt.
But this skirt...look what it does for my butt!
Boom-chicka-wow-wow! L is definitely a fan.
All bundled up - not as cold today (so I could wear a lighter coat), but cold enough to need my fur and wool accessories.
Walking to and from work caused the skirt to ride up dramatically. It looked like I was only wearing the coat! That was the only downside to it, though. And since I apparently have great legs, what's a little more?
- Fur toque/scarf - Danier Leather
- Wool gloves - vintage, thrifted
The stuff:
One of my coworkers noted that these soft grey shoes actually "read" as light blue in my outfit (like the light blue in the skirt, and the baby blue of my camisole under the white blouse). I know - I totally planned that!
Blue bling:
I only have one blue earring, so I wore this sparkly pink one on the other side.
- Pin/earring - vintage, early 60s, vintage fair
- Earring - don't remember
- Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes
And now...more cold medication!

ReplyDeleteI like this, pink and grey have been a favourite combination of mine since I was in high school.
Thanks, hon, I'm nearly better - still taking cold meds, but it feels like it's near the end. I love this colour combo too - I also remember wearing it in high school!
