Funky Friday: Squares, Stripes and Circles (and Purple Leather)

Woo hoo, it's Friday! This is the first 5-day week for many of us in quite a while. 

I'm happy it's over - a very crazy week for me (and next week will be more of the same). However, let us slog on and wear purple.

• Coat - Noa Noa; last seen here for Hallowe'en 2013, as the Mad Hatter
• Blouse - Uno Due, thrifted; last worn here in December 2014 with peach
• Skirt - Chia, thrifted, vintage 80s; last seen here in November 2014 with embroidered velvet
• Shoes - Joy & Peace, thrifted; purchased here for $15.00 last weekend

The shoes are pretty funky with the purple tights, aren't they? I had a very good reaction to this outfit overall at work today, with compliments on the shoes and the coat in particular.

The coat is quite amazing. I don't wear it too often, but it always stays in my closet.

The stuff:

These shoes were surprisingly comfortable for my work-day. I had anticipated having to take them off after an hour or two, but they held up well. A slight bit of rubbing on the side of my ankle at the top of the shoe, so I won't wear them bare-legged any time soon.

L and I are going out for dinner tonight, so I bused home to feel el gato.

That's the only still picture I could get of him; he was very happy to see me and wouldn't stop rubbing all over. Of course, now that I've fed him, he's buggered off somewhere.

And off to dinner for me! We're having a pretty quiet weekend, and watching football playoffs and recuperating from our hectic weeks. I'll be back Sunday with my weekend casual outfits. Have a fab weekend!
