I built this whole outfit around the knee socks:
I am not a fan of pants, in general. They cling on my muscly thighs and well, why shouldn't I show off my legs? These pair are a little low on the hips, and they look a little too casual for my taste. I think I will have to replace them when I can shop again in January. I just don't have a lot of luck with dress pants in consignment stores.
Oh, the socks, yes, right:
Inigo is coming in for a rub. Seriously, aren't those awesome socks? I wish I had a full pair of tights in this pattern, then I'd scrap the pants altogether and just wear a skirt.
If I had socks like that I would build an outfit around them too!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, indeed - the pattern on those socks is truly fab!
ReplyDeletei do indeed envy you those socks! i want me some!
ReplyDeletepink and brown=neopolitan ice cream! i'm a HUGE fan of ice cream, which is also a huge problem! it's my biggest weakness.
Those ARE totally awesome socks. I'm now in search for my own pair of Sox Trot Socks!

That sock picture is adorable. You're so photogenic!
ReplyDeleteKristen - I need more funky socks. I need to embrace them.
ReplyDeleteSal, it's all part of my "Pretty in Pink" flashback, ha!
Eednic, totally, neapolitan! I used to scoop out all the chocolate. I'm fine as long as there's no ice cream in the house. If there is, it's gone.
Hi, austin and thanks for your comments! Welcome!
Oh my god, Wendy, are you joking? I am so NOT photogenic! Thank you!
mmmm ice cream! I am loving the socks and shoes! Fun stuff
ReplyDeleteHi, long time reader-I think this is the first comment. :-) I really love this outfit on you, I love the pink and brown, but wanted to say that the pants make your look long and lean!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hillary!
