Maybe I look displeased because I know that when I go shopping after work at Winners with my $60 gift card from the Winesday Women and can buy whatever I want (!!) I actually find NOTHING at all. Well, some tights, but they are not that exciting, nor are they forbidden to me like new shoes or a dress would have been.
Anyway, the long-sleeved purple top was acquired in my recent consignment store shop. Nice and soft, and good for layering. I thought it went well with my Plum anniversary graphic tee.
My outdoor wear was kind of fun:

No stuff picture - it wasn't that exciting. Have a great weekend!
Long-sleeved tee (Gilmour, consignment), graphic tee (Plum), skirt (Bebe Sport, swap), shoes (Be Wild, consignment), chainmail necklace (handmade), white gold hoop earrings (gift from L).
I hope that the funeral for your friend went okay.
ReplyDeleteYour corporate swag beats anything I've got from various jobs! My dad got a leather jacket as a service gift, but he had been with his company for a long time.
Maybe you will find something next time at Winners. (Is it a thrift shop? I wonder if my friends in your area know of it.)
Thanks, Kari - it was two hours of pictures and reminiscences. Heartbreaking. Over 500 people were there.
ReplyDeleteI saved my company a lot of money so got to raid the "treasure chest" - sweet!
Winners is a department store that sells brand names but at discount prices. I had my eye on some Nine West booties, but they were too close to what I already had. I added a link in the post to the Winners site.
You're a good sport to be photographed so early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteI so love that skirt. Very cool freebie jacket too!
ReplyDeleteI hate it when you have the cash but cna't fina nything. I hope the day went better for you.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute outfit! I love the graphic tee paired with the skirt...it's very jcrew :) And can I just say that I LOVE those gloves and that jacket!!
ReplyDeleteWendy, I take my own pictures (hurray for timers!), so not much of a sport at all!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Alison. The jacket I actually did pay a small amount for ($75) - it was sold as part of a charity auction. The corporate logo is undetectable.
Yeah, it's so frustrating! It did, Jane, thanks so much.
FA, thanks! I don't think I have ever been in a JCrew store.
