Nothing new here, just the skirt Kasmira sent to me (first seen here).
An old jacket that I haven't worn in ages (last worn here, a year ago!, as well as here, here, and here - $11.50, getting my money's worth).
Add my poufy Noa Noa underskirt (last seen here) and we have a whole lotta flouncy goin' on.
The stuff:
Time to get my Fluevog fix! This is the second wearing of my "Coffee" shoes (first seen here).
Close up of the sparkly bits:
I'm actually quite chuffed about mixing my stripe in the jacket with the houndstooth in the belt - see? see? I almost never wear this belt, so this feels like a Major Achievement.
Jacket (Final Touch, thrifted), cami (Ellen Tracy, gift from Caro), red skirt (Eddie Rodriguez, swap from Kasmira), black skirt (Noa Noa), shoes (Fluevog "Sumatra" from the "Coffee" line, gift from L), belt ($5 in some boutique), necklace (consignment), earrings (gift from Elaine).
I looove the colors paired. The dark red with the beige. The colors remind me of fall. I love the extra bit of floof the black skirt lends. Adding the 'coffee' heels tops it off.
ReplyDeleteI can see adding a mini-top hat or fascinator to this outfit.
That is an adorable outfit. What is this "Noa Noa" I keep seeing mention of? Audi seems to have lots of stuff from them.
ReplyDeleteI love the Fluevogs with this dark red skirt! Your waist looks so tiny in this outfit, too!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous skirt -- the color and shape!
ReplyDeleteOh this is good Sheila. Thanks for showing us the shoes again. I can look at those babies anytime!
ReplyDeleteWhat is "chuffed"? :)
ReplyDeleteLust after those shoes... and mad love for the jacket and belt. I think I'm not confident enough yet for that type of skirt! You look super snazzy!
What a beautiful outfit!
ReplyDeleteOh, the wonders of this ensemble. At first glance, it looked like an awesome high-waisted skirt, but you broke it down for me and I get it (and enjoy it) even more now.
ReplyDeleteAnd LHdM's so very right: you've got serious tiny-waisted awesome-hourglass thing going on here.
The skirt and belt are adorable. The whole outfit rocks.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Megan! The skirt really had great movement when I walked around. Ooh, love the hat/fascinator idea!
ReplyDeleteCynthia, just Google it - it's a Scandinavian company.
LaHdM, thank you - oh gosh, tiny waist, even better!
Wendy, thanks!
SU, thank you! Same here, love my 'Vogs.
Freeda, "chuffed" is feeling all proud of yourself and puffed up. I've only done the crinoline skirt a few times - it's new to me too.
Thanks, Barbara!
A-Dubs, you are too kind, thank you.
Thanks, shybiker!
