I made it to work for the morning, but left at 1:30pm.
- Blouse - Scotch & Soda, Maison Scotch; vintage shop, Vancouver; last worn here in August 2021 with striped pants
- Pants - H&M, consignment, Vancouver; last seen here in March with leopard
- Shoes - Geox, consignment; purchased here for $78.00
- Coat (below) - L'Atiste, consignment, Vancouver; last worn here in February
As I usually do, I dress for sitting in the chair for an hour.
I actually bought both this top and the pants on anniversary trips to Vancouver, one year apart - the top is from 2018 and the pants are from 2019.
I have a camisole on under the blouse, as the back is mostly sheer (it's soft pink with tiny black stars).
Outerwear - I realized that this coat is also a Vancouver purchase, from when I seaplaned over for a day hanging out with Mel and Shelley (here) in 2019.
- Silk scarf - Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier, consignment

Mom picked me up from the periodontist, as I'm very woozy from the happy pill they give me (I also have my face fully frozen), and came over for some kitty time.
Not like last night, when he lurked behind my head for a while.
"Since you're up, how about some kitty treats?"
Yeah, I don't think so, bud. Nice try, though.
This is a lovely pink and the pants look flattering on you.ReplyDelete
The blazer looks very interesting with the front closure, and yay for it fitting nicely on your Mom.ReplyDelete
You are wearing a perfect outfit for dental work - comfortable and uplifting and nothing fussy. Like you, yesterday I spent an hour in a dental chair, in my case having a crown installed. And like you, I dressed for comfort, nothing fussy, and my pants were uplifting. Of the three, comfort is always my aim when at the dentist!
Hope you slept off the effects and are feeling fine today! Oh yes, and yay for the new white shoes being comfortable.
PS it’s Laurie. Curious how Safari doesn’t take comments on my iPad, chrome takes comments but only as anonymous, and on my laptop Chrome takes comments as my name. I gave up trying to comment with Safari on my laptop!ReplyDelete
You look much better than I do going for dental work! The blazer for your mom looks so good on her.ReplyDelete
I really like that top with the pink pants, they are such a great match and it's so fun you got so many of these outfit pieces from your trip! Your mum looks lovely in the red blazer you got her too. Hope you feel better after a sleep to recover!ReplyDelete
The pink trousers and Scotch & Soda blouse are a perfect match, and what a coincidence - or not? - that they were both bought on trips to Vancouver! Good to hear your new-to-you shoes have been approved by your feet :-) I do hope you've recovered from your ordeal by now. I do wish my dentist would give me a happy pill too, but all I can hope for is some freezing! xxxReplyDelete
Periodontal at your age? You poor thing.ReplyDelete
Sympathies for the ongoing dental issues-I'm dealing with a long ordeal too and it definitely isn't fun. No happy pills, just nonvaccineReplyDelete
Those pink trousers are beautiful. Hope you're getting some sleep. Take care..
Glad the dental visit is but a memory for you now. The top and trousers go perfectly together and the white shoes are fab, good to know that they're comfy, too!ReplyDelete
You Mum looks great in her new jacket and Vizzini looks very inquisitive in that last photo, bless him. xxx
Brave girl. Those shoes will be a staple in your wardrobe. And indeed, your mum looks great in that red jacket.ReplyDelete
Your mum looks fabulous in that jacket! I hope the dentist appreciated your outfit!ReplyDelete
