As I've mentioned before, playing around in my closet and actually planning my outfits is one of my favourite things to do.
- Top - Lord & Taylor, consignment; last worn here in October 2018
- Skirt - Banana Republic Heritage, thrifted; last seen here (3rd outfit) in January for a quick walk to town
- Shoes - Entrance Room 502, Fluevog; last worn here in October with orange and pink
- Jacket (below) - Burberry, thrifted; purchased here for $44.99
- Coat (below) - L'Atiste, consignment, Vancouver; last seen here a couple of weeks ago
Except for a different skirt, this is the identical outfit to what I wore in October 2018 (here).
Clothing as armour!
I tried to do this new-to-me Burberry jacket with this outfit.
I don't mind that. I just have to make sure I work the proportions correctly (short, slim skirt or trousers).

I love this outfit. It's a very classic look but the caped jumper gives it a quirky edge. I love those boots too; they look so cool and comfortable but also quirky. You have great legs!

DeleteI love playing around with the items in my wardrobe too. It's total relaxation for me to try things out and assemble possible outfits, complete with the right accessories. And I agree that sometimes you need clothing as armour. Enter the superwoman jumper, which looks wonderful with the shiny leopard skirt. I'm sure the Burberry babydoll jacket will fit in with your Summer wardrobe, and will be something to look forward to wearing then. Your coat is awesome! xxx
