Everyone at work was sick today - darned cold/flu/whatever it is! I faked feeling good with a very bright pink top.
Pink suede - butter soft, with drapey bits. So pretty.- Top - Danier Leather, consignment; first worn here for Greg's party in October 2017
- Pants - Linda Lundstrom, swap from Caro; last seen here with Monster Vest in December 2017
- Shoes - Celestial Communication Andromeda, Fluevog; last worn here in June 2017 with classy black
- Coat (below) - Forever 21, thrifted; last seen here in January
I was so tired this morning, I just wanted to go back to bed.
But I slogged on, off to work, deal with new people, do more move stuff (eep, getting closer). Try not to fall asleep or lose track of what I'm doing due to cold meds.
I love these ginormous pants.
They make me look tall (I'm not, I'm 5'4").
And they have pockets.
Gotta have pockets.
Outerwear - Grape Ape time!
Pink gloves, of course.
- Gloves - consignment
The stuff:
These are pretty high heels, but I kept close to my desk most of the day. The pants require a heel.
Simple bling:
First wearing of these new-to-me earrings, purchased on the weekend for $8.00.
- Earrings - thrifted
- Hematite rings - thrifted
I love those pants on you! Feel better! Don't be afraid to take a sick day (or two) to get over your illness.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chrissy! That's good advice.
DeleteWow and I would never guess that you were 5'4 judging by these pictures. I love this pink danier top on you. I need it lol
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Marcia! Hands off the top, woman! ;-P
DeleteThat pink suede top is amazing. You look terrific in this ensemble even if you felt like crud. I hope you feel better soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Linda! Ugh, I hope this stupid cold clears up.
DeleteYou look beautiful, nice blouse. It's better to take two days off, I went to work with the same symptoms and ended up with a temperature of 39, 5 that could not be broken.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jolanta! Good advice.
DeleteI love this, that pink top is so bright and cheerful, you'd never know you were sick. It's so hard when things go around the office, it spreads so quickly! Hope you get better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mica! I'm good at faking it, lol. The office is rife with disease!
DeleteBeautiful pink top, lovely outfit, especially the shoes, you have some great shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Polly! I love shoes!
DeleteYou're very good at faking it Sheila, as you're looking fab in that bright pink top! I love the drapey bits! And my, you do look tall in those trousers! The Grape Ape is Forever 21? I think my jaw just dropped. It looks properly expensive! xxx
ReplyDeleteYup, you'd never know I was sick. The top is so cool - I'm glad to get another wear out of it. I know, the coat was a steal too - I paid less than $10 for it.
DeleteLovely outfit and I would have snapped up those earrings too!
ReplyDeleteThey're fun, aren't they?
DeleteI've just noticed your new profile pic - all that long sleek hair and those fabulous glasses, hurrah!
ReplyDeleteThe combination of pink suede and frills is gorgeous and yes, you look soooo tall in those pants!

Ha, it's my new company photo ID badge - hilarious! Thank you so much, my dear!
DeleteGreat outfit - who can resist pink suede ruffles, and you know how I feel about wide-leg pants! The flu/cold thing has been making its way around our office too. I just finished a round of antibiotics to get rid of bronchitis.
ReplyDeleteI know, right? Guh, I'm better now, but still hacking and coughing.
