A terribly creative title of today's post, but it's late, and I'm tired and I haven't eaten yet.
- Blazer - Emporio Armani, thrifted; first worn here in October with paisley pants
- Silk ruffle blouse - no label, consignment; first worn here (with this same blazer)
- Culottes - Michal Negrin, thrifted; purchased here for $29.95
- Booties - Mia, consignment; first worn here in October with my 90s tube dress
- Coat (below) - Apparence, vintage, thrifted; last seen here on Monday
Here's with just the blouse (too cold for this!), so you can see the sparkly pants. I've decided they are culottes.
With the blazer. This is how I wore it all day at work.
Done up - I only buttoned it for putting on my coat.
The Unsafe Polar Bear returns! You'll be thoroughly sick of both Unsafe coats by the end of winter.
- Scarf - Story of Shanghai, thrifted
- Gloves - Parkhurst
Gold and black bling:
- Necklace - Anne Klein, vintage 80s, Grandma J's
- Hematite earrings - gift from Mom
- Bronze ring - P. Sarpaneva, vintage 70s, vintage fair
- Hematite ring - thrifted
I'll be back on Sunday with a Bigass Weekend Wrap-Up (TM) - see you then! Have a wonderful weekend, my friends!
Love the burgundy with the black and gray! Very elegant.ReplyDelete
This outfit shows off your new culottes so well - they look great on you and I like the burgundy top and shoes with them! Even if the shoes weren't the most comfortable in the end for your long day!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Mica! Burgundy is such a good colour with neutrals.Delete
Oh, these pants! I love 'em. Better lock your closet-door...ReplyDelete
Beautiful shades Sheila ! and the pants proved to be the perfect election.ReplyDelete
I am so happy with them - sparkly culottes! It's awesome!Delete
I love the combination of greys and maroon/wine/claret/burgundy. I love those sparkly pants with the shirt and blazer; a lovely outfit, Sheila.ReplyDelete
Thank you, Veronica! It's such a classy combo. I liked this outfit a lot too!Delete
Fantastic colour combo - I'm not usually a fan of grey but the burgundy elevates it to a cool and classy level. Those trousers are a fantastic fit, you can tell they're a posh label.ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful weekend, Sheila! xxx
I have been grooving on grey lately, really enjoying how it elevates my brights. Thank you, Vix! I hope you had a fabulous birthday weekend!Delete
Those sparkly culottes (yes, they're definitely culottes in my book as well!) look fantastic on you, and I love how you combined them with the burgundy ruffle blouse. Those booties are really something else, although I can see they have the "ouch" factor. The things we put our feet through for a fab pair of shoes! Have a great weekend! xxxReplyDelete
Thanks, Ann! We do suffer (a little) for fashion, but it's worth it to me!Delete
I love the Unsafe Polar Bear coat. I'll never get sick of it. It looks so cozy and comfy. Burgundy is definitely your colour. Great outfit.ReplyDelete
Good to know it has a fan, Sandra, thank you! It's very cozy.Delete
Thoroughly enjoy the color combo and I think you look smashing in the outfit :-) So perfect for this time of year!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Laurie! I love dressing for the holiday season!Delete
You know it!Delete
Love the monster vest, nothing monstrous about it, just pure glamour! Also love the fine knit wool and that gorgeous fringed mauve jacket! Wow, holiday pizazz!ReplyDelete
Great post Sheila, sending hugs from NYC!
Aw, thank you, Elle! I like to express my holiday spirit in unconventional ways. Hugs back, you!Delete
