Oh, what a day. It was just stoopid. Thank goodness for a swooshy skirt! Some days that makes all the different to one's mood, doesn't it?
- Sweater - Badgley Mischka, thrifted; first worn here in October in a sheer dotty outfit
- Skirt - VanessaVirginia, thrifted; purchased here for $22.95
- Boots - Sopranos Angelina, Fluevog; last worn here (4th outfit, way down past the Gala pics) in February with more blues
- Coat (below) - Pioneer Wear, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here in November 2016
This sweater photographs poorly - the wide slits on the side make the bottom front hem look very wide. But it's really a lovely, amazing quality sweater to wear. I have come a long way from hating pastels!
Now, let's talk swooshiness - this is a Swoosh Factor 8, for sure. Much billowing and swish swish about when walking, although it has a tendency to make "ABBA pants" on me.
I am wearing a cotton tank under the sweater, but maybe a less bulky cami next time.
Outerwear. I felt in the mood for fringe this morning.
- Wrap thing - thrifted
- Fur boa - thrifted
- Wool gloves - Parkhurst
But really, it's all about this fabulous coat.
- Necklace/earrings - vintage 60s, Renoir, vintage fair
- Lapis lazuli ring/Fulvia Ring - Wendy Brandes
I love your new swooshy skirt, Sheila! It's swoosh-tastic! :) It looks great with that sweater and the copper bling! Those boots are fab too. XXXReplyDelete
Thanks, Sasha! It was fun and colourful, a nice break from some of my neutrals of late.Delete
what a fabulous skirt!, and I love it with those (also) fabulous boots and blue tights, such an awesome color combo!, and the fringed jacket!.ReplyDelete
And I believe that stairs and chair wheels are evil, they try to kill me everytime I wear a maxi skirt!
I have NEVER seen someone rock leather fringe like THIS! Epic, lady. LOVE love love the shot of the jacket from the back with the points perfectly placed. Always a treat, love the soft blue sweater. Footwear is amazing. xox :)ReplyDelete
Aw, thanks, Julie! I do love my leather fringe!Delete
Oh I lvoe that skirt on you Sheila and I think the pastel blue is lovely with it! Maxi skirts are the best, for swoosh factor I find, the ones I have that are swooshiest are among my favourites! :)ReplyDelete
Sad to see the skirt packed away for warmer weather but I know you'll love it then too! :)
They really are - so much swooshing was done. I've got plenty of winter skirts - and you'll see it with all my awesome summer wear!Delete
That skirt looks absolutely fantastic all winterised up. I absolutely love the boots, wow, just wow! I've got wellie madness, I can't take another day of having to wear them. xxxReplyDelete
Aren't the boots fabulous? I love that they have not tongue - laces!Delete
That skirt looks fantastic on you, and the sweater's colour is just perfect with it. I'm in love with the boots! I saw a pair in a similar colour when thrifting, but they were far too big, unfortunately. The fringy jacket is awesome, too. xxxReplyDelete
Thank you, Ann! These are so fun to wear - the coat too!Delete
Beautiful skirt and I loved the unexpected boots and their colorful presence.ReplyDelete
Nothing like a good SWOOSH to add some cheer! Fabulous boho skirt and I love the pale pink sweater, I think it photographs well. And the blue fringed jacket- Wow! Fabulous! Love the red boots too, well done, as always!ReplyDelete
Oh, yes! It added much cheer! Thank you, Elle!Delete
Oh golly, this time of year, I was thinking blue and wrote pink....ReplyDelete
