Dotty for Emerald and Metallic Flounces

Ugh, what an exhausting day - it was eternal, yet flew by. It's late and I have yet to have dinner, so let's get this outfit started. 

 Bam! That's a whole lot of metallic ruffles in your face.

• Sweater - Tatyana, thrifted; last seen here (6th outfit, way down) in September with these same shoes for shopping
• Skirt - Mondi, thrifted, vintage fair; purchased here last weekend for $7.98
• Shoes - Half Truth Tanya, Fluevog; last seen here at the same time as the green sweater
• Coat (below) - Stop Staring!, thrifted; last worn here on the weekend

I had a lot of positive comments on the outfit - it's very shiny! But the bright green and the silver skirt really made people happy.

 I wish I'd steamed the wrinkles out of the sweater!

 The skirt is very swooshy (about a Swoosh Factor 8 for those keeping score), and had great movement. I danced around, moved a desk and flounced all over the office, then worked my WW meeting in it.

I was all matchy with the outerwear.

 I remembered that I had this green wool scarf (the pattern is safety pins), and the studded gloves go with the dots on my hosiery. I do like a theme. I also love this coat.

 The shoes are one of my favourite pairs of Fluevogs ever. So. Comfy. I love that heel. Bring this one back, John! I want it in purple!
