Ugh, what an exhausting day - it was eternal, yet flew by. It's late and I have yet to have dinner, so let's get this outfit started.
- Sweater - Tatyana, thrifted; last seen here (6th outfit, way down) in September with these same shoes for shopping
- Skirt - Mondi, thrifted, vintage fair; purchased here last weekend for $7.98
- Shoes - Half Truth Tanya, Fluevog; last seen here at the same time as the green sweater
- Coat (below) - Stop Staring!, thrifted; last worn here on the weekend
I had a lot of positive comments on the outfit - it's very shiny! But the bright green and the silver skirt really made people happy.
I was all matchy with the outerwear.
- Scarf - Smoking Lily
- Gloves - Danier Leather
- Bracelet - thrifted, first wearing
- Earrings - vintage fair, first wearing
- Hematite ring - thrifted
- Silver/onyx ring - gift from Mom and Dad, c.1986
Aren't the earrings funky? Here's a better look at them on me.
Wait, better pose.
Spectacular earrings -- and great shoes. Your shoe collection is awe-inspiring!ReplyDelete
Thank you, Cynthia!Delete
Wonderful skirt. Amazing earrings. And impressed at your fortitude to blog after a hard day. One question -- the location of your regular (first) pose: is that indoor or outdoor? I always assumed it was an indoor stairway but the door behind you looks like an exterior door.ReplyDelete
Further pondering... the stairs look like exterior steps, but I assume you are indoors for good lighting and protection from weather. Then again, maybe it's an indoor space that's outside your home, like a apartment-building corridor or shielded overhang. Hmmm...Delete
Thank you - I am good at slamming out a post quickly. We have an outside stairwell on my building, but it's all completely covered. That is an exterior door. I'll take a picture for you!Delete
Aaah! Makes perfect sense. Thanks for clearing this up. My mind has been wondering about it for days.Delete
Bright green and silver is an awesome combo, Sheila! Your earrings are so cool. I love them! Hope you have a great weekend. XXXReplyDelete
I know, not TOO Christmassy! Thank you, Sasha!Delete
Love everything about this outfit Sheila! Although I'm sorry you had a less than perfect day in it, as it really is a perfect outfit! Love the earrings on you and it's a stunning skirt.ReplyDelete
Eh, it's okay, Mica, thank you! The skirt was so fun to wear.Delete
Gawd, I love that coat! As I was reading, I wished for a close up of the earrings and voila (!) you read my mind. I could not wear them, although I'd want to-so I'm glad you wear them for us. You've had a tough autumn. Know that you have virtual friends who've got your back. Carol in VTReplyDelete
Thank you! I love it too. Heh, yes, thought I would do a "face shot" so you could see the jewels. Thanks, Carol.Delete
I'd never have thought of combining green and silver, but it's a winning combination! xxxReplyDelete
Silver goes with everything! Thank you!Delete
OOOOhhh the new earrings bring me joy !!!ReplyDelete
and that coat continues to be a winner :)
I know, aren't they adorable? They squished a bit with my headset, though. I love the coat!Delete
BAM! That's what I love. You need a bonus for this outfit alone. I think the modelling industry as a whole hasn't had their coffee yet and doesn't bothering faking it. Hahaha. It's a pity.ReplyDelete
I do! Gimme a bonus for looking so awesome! Ha, I have good RBF.Delete
Metallic frills and emerald green ,ReplyDelete
Friend— You are slaying it!
Love the earrings and the glasses, very chic and you !
Just goes to show...
When in doubt go for BAM !
Thank you, Elle! I always try to go for BAM!Delete
Superb! Everything about this is wonderful. I was just thinking I'd like to see those earrings on, when the extra pics appeared..ReplyDelete
Aw, thank you, Radostin! Glad I took the extra earring pic.Delete
Bloody hell, I love this look! Green and silver - who'd have thought to put that together? The skirt is divine, but I knew it would be. Love this whole shebang - totally inspired!ReplyDelete
Thanks, Anna! I felt awesome in this outfit.Delete
