A Whale of an Outfit

I had a lot of compliments on this outfit today. Some people liked the sweater, some liked the skirt, some liked the shoes.
It was win-win-win...with a whale!

  • Sweater - C. Wonder, thrifted; first worn here in July with houndstooth
  • Skirt - Sandra Angelozzi, consignment; first worn here in June with mint green and Shoes My Husband Hates
  • Shoes - Dr. Scholl's, consignment; last seen here in August with things I'm not supposed to wear

I have to say, these new bras are really getting the girls up there! I felt very slim in this with all that acreage up and away from my waist!
I really love this skirt, even if it has no stretch.

The stuff:
I had a very long day with my WW meeting going late again. My feet are tired, and it's nearly 8pm and I have not had dinner yet.

Steel bling:
My mind is a blurry as my pictures...so forgive my brevity.

  • Cuff - thrifted
  • Earrings - gift from Lise

Tomorrow night, I'm out with Elaine for a drink for her birthday (happy birthday, darlin'!), then off to the theatre with Mom. I'll be back on Sunday. Whatever does one wear to see "Monty Python's Spamalot"??

  1. Only you could wear a sweater with a whale and a heart and have it not look too twee! Well done!

We saw MP's Spamalot at the Arts Club a few years ago. Great fun! We were surprised to see all ages represented...not so surprised to see all manner of dress! Have fun!

  3. So cute! Each piece is competing with the others for top prize, a rivalry that works to your advantage.
