The last day of summer!
Appropriately yellow, yes?
- Dress - Calvin Klein, consignment; first worn here in April for the Battle of Yellow Dresses (guess which won?)
- Shoes - Chie Mihara; last seen here in August with full cashmere
I felt like a Disney princess in this dress, swooshing about here and there. Where are the cartoon birds?

My arms were cold all day, but I had to get another wear in of this lovely lemon yellow dress before I pack it away.
The stuff:
I'll be packing these shoes away as well. The colour is not quite right for winter - I can't picture them with dark(er) tights - so think how excited I'll be at the end of March when I remember I own these!
Silver bling:
I don't wear my obis as much as I used to, but I do still love them. It's not like they take up a lot of room either!

This morning I heard a noise out on the deck.

It's getting pretty chilly in the mornings now. Soon, we'll have to close off the deck - sorry, Vizzini!
He was very agitated at the spider that was just above his reach. The Gary oak trees are full of spiders (*shudder*) and they all seem to be trying to get inside. One had a web stretched across the hallway this morning!

I waved at Vizzini from the street (right where that red car is), but he was too preoccupied with the spider to notice me.
What a pretty dress. I was looking for the bluebirds helping you put it on. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour spider-story reminds me of a news account I read this week. A man was driving and got so spooked by a spider in his car, he crashed. Ouch.

That dress is just so pretty - definitely a keeper! We are still having summer-like weather here this week so I'm going to give my fave summer clothing a last Hurrah before washing and packing away.
