Chartreuse Lace and Tux Pants

Well, that was a day. I guess I had gotten used to the quiet time over the summer with all my coworkers on vacation. Now they're back and I'm hoppin'!
Ergo, a week of pants, including my much-loved black satin tux pants.

  • Top - Kensie, consignment (was Karen's); first worn here in August with shocking pink
  • Pants - handmade, no label, thrifted; last seen here in June with fringey magenta
  • Shoes - Queen Transcendent Escarpin, Fluevog; first worn here in July with cerulean

The scarf was my starting piece, so I played off the colours in it: chartreuse for the top, red for the cami under it, burgundy for the shoes.
I'm a little meh on black pants in general, but in satin they are nice.

The stuff:
Also, I'm head over heels about these fabulous shoes! They were just as lovely to wear today as they were the first time. They'll be staying out in my fall/winter wardrobe.

Blurry bling:
'Tis the season for my copper jewelry to go into full rotation. There's just something very cold-weather about copper.

  • Scarf - thrifted
  • Cuff/earrings - Renoir, vintage 60s, vintage fair
  • Rings - vintage fair

L is having the football pool draft now, so I'm going to chill in the bedroom with Vizzini. Reading time!

  1. Yeah, I don't get very excited about black trousers as a rule, but if they have something special about them (stain!) then that makes a difference. And with the strong chartreuse and quirky heels, it's a super-smart look! xxx
