This was a fun outfit to wear.
Many of my coworkers commented on it - everyone loved the purple suede vest. I think of this as my jerkin, a term that Curtise uses (being British and all). Go visit her

- Vest - no label, vintage 70s, consignment; last worn here (2nd outfit) in November 2013
- Skirt - Jones New York, vintage 80s, thrifted; last worn here in January with sparkly blue
- Booties - Prepare Maps, Fluevog; last seen here in December 2014 with sparkly sequins
I wasn't really feeling the vest today until I'd worn it for a while. It hugged me like an old friend.

Happy purple boots. I walked several blocks today in these. Totally comfy shoes.
Zodiacal bling:
One of my Chinese coworkers said this necklace reminded him of a zodiac necklace. Is there an elephant in the Chinese zodiac? I don't think so. But we have cows, goats, horses, a snake and a dragon!

Got to love a jerkin! Actually, I think I adopted the term from Vix, I would have called it a longline waistcoat, but jerkin sounds much better.
