L bought a boxed set of figures years ago: Animals of Africa. This fig is the last one of that set to get painted. I'll have to take pictures of the other ones - they are all excellent paint jobs.
The hyena:

Great paint job on this one too - L is particularly talented at doing animal skins. He's done some amazing snakes.

Really great work on the eyes and teeth. You can also see the use of base material to look like sand.

He looks very bitey.
