I thought I'd continue the flow with these olive joggers, but I ended up disliking them by the end of the day.

They were always an experiment for me, anyway.

Did you see the necklace tucked under the collar of the shirt?
Oh, I do like this top very much! I love the way you have jewelry to match the theme! I'm sorry the joggers didn't make the cut. I have never had any luck with them. I just always feel like I'm wearing dressed up sweatpants! They look so cute on other people. I don't know...maybe it's just in my head!

Joggers have always seemed like sweatpants to me as well, I think the orange would pop so nicely against white! where as the olive (a colour I love!) made the orange dull?
DeleteThanks, Marsha! I do love a theme! Yeah, I gave them a good shot, and now it's time for them to go. They don't make me feel fabulous, and I don't have room in my closet for things that aren't ringing my bell.
DeleteAgreed, w/Mame! Yes, the olive doesn't let the top shine, and it deserves to be seen!
DeleteI think you look terrific but if you're not feeling the pants after so many tries, a new home would be fitting.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sam! Yup, when you're not feeling 'em, they have to go.
DeleteI'm a sucker for golden shoes... anything golden actually. We have a heatwave het so the only thing I'm wearing are my bikini's.
ReplyDeleteI've read about your heatwave, Nancy! I love gold shoes too - I can't resist them!
DeleteThe orange snake print blouse is a stunner, but you're right, the olive joggers does not do it justice. Joggers be gone, indeed! Loving the snaky bling, I mean, what else would you wear with that blouse :-) Sorry for keeping my comment short and sweet: like Nancy, we are having a heatwave and my brain is refusing service at nearly 40°C. xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, 40 degrees!! I can't even imagine, Ann.
DeleteI know, I gave those joggers a lot of leeway, and they've even been in the giveaway pile before! It's time to go - I have better things to wear with this awesome top.
Olive green is one of my favorite colors and I love the shoes with the outfit. Very I dream if Genie!
ReplyDeleteHa, love it, thanks, Kim!
DeleteVery autumnal colours which is perfect for this July on the west coast :( I love that blouse and would love to see it with your white jeans or a pencil skirt? As always you look great and your jewelery is fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteYup, I'll be doing one of those next time I wear it, Robyn. Thanks so much!
DeleteThe top is beautiful. And I remember you wearing these trousers in another outfit that I found terrific.
ReplyDeleteGreetje
I've always been a little iffy on the trousers. I'm not sad to see them go.
DeleteThe blouse and shoes would be amazing with a plain black pencil skirt to make them pop!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's too easy - plus, do you know me? :) I don't own a plain black pencil skirt - too boring! But I do have other stuff I can try.
DeleteI do like olive and orange together but I agree - the top is the real standout here and I can see why it made you disappointed the pants didn't continue the awesomeness! You did get good value from them though!
ReplyDeleteI did - my cost-per-wear is great on them. I have ideas for the next wearing of the top.
