I'm glad that it's so much lighter in the morning (for now), so that you can properly enjoy my blue velvet boots. Aren't they a glorious rich blue?
They tend to look very dark in my indoor lighting, even in the morning when I take most of my pictures.
I wore blue with this skirt the first time I wore it too.

There are a couple of stripes of blue in the plaid, so it's an easy match.
I should do some red or dark red with this skirt next time.

Masked up.
My hairdresser Kaitlyn appreciated my look, although I had my white Doc Martens on when she saw me after work. I pulled one of the boots out of my walking backpack to show her and she oohed and ahhed.

Outerwear - there's the red.
Although you know I don't lack for blue coats either. I may have one or two.

Such a warm, cozy, stunning look, I can I imagine how comfortable this was to wear! It’s perfect for fall and winter. Those boots…the color and velvet! The blues play well with the skirt, to my eye helping make the look cozy and an outfit to nestle up in; not sure I can picture red pieces so will be interested to see what that looks like when you, perhaps, give it a try.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, your copper collection, ahhh, lovely!
Isn’t it fabulous to love the color combination in one’s ensemble of clothes!? And their form as well? It is such an individual experience—we all have our own places of happiness, sartorially. And those evolve at least somewhat with time.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteI just can't take my eyes off that deliciously spicy skirt, Sheila, and it looks absolutely fabulous paired with blue. The boots in particular are to die for! Your red leather coat is proof that it would work with red as well, though. Swooning over your copper bling! xxx
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty and those boots are BOMB!!
ReplyDeleteI really like blue and orange together and I love that skirt! I used to have a similar skirt in navy that I often miss - but it got to the point I couldn't button it up any more, haha!
ReplyDeleteOrange and red, I love it!
ReplyDeleteFabulous outfit and the boots are amazing. I loved your copper bling.

At the risk of repeating myself, you found a terrific pair of boots!
ReplyDeleteFantastic colours, like Autumn leaves! The boots are just brilliant, no wonder your hairdresser was oohing and ahhing over them! xxx
ReplyDeleteThat’s a really striking outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love the colours; the richness; the gorgeous, velvet boots. Those are a real Wow! x
Your blue velvet boots are gorgeous. I love how you paired them with a matching turtleneck and an orange and black tartan skirt.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is such a wonderfully bold and flattering piece and it looks great book-ended with the bright rich blues.
ReplyDeleteOooh, blue and that gorgeous skirt are such a delightful combination- don't pair it with red-blue forever! Those boots are dreamy and have reminded me that I have suedette pull on boots like that. I need to wear those again!!
ReplyDeleteThat red coat! Oh dear, clearly I'm craving color. And as always I love your copper collection!
ReplyDeleteLove these blue boots with the orange skirt, such a beautiful colour combo and fab textures!, cozy and cool!. Rocking your leather coat!
ReplyDeletebesos
Ohh snazzy outfit. Very sexy. Love the orange with blue. If I had your figure I would wear this.

Cozy and glam as the day is long. That colour pairing is really something special - as are those endlessly chic blue velvet boots.
ReplyDeleteI suspect that (much like red) certain shades of rich, elegant green (emerald, hunter, forest, etc) could look pretty sensational with that awesome orange pencil skirt as well. Ditto for teal.
