I feel like a million bucks in this dress:
And not only because it kind of looks like a super-duper close-up of money. It's like wearing pyjamas to work. It's stretchy, it has a great neckline and it's cut perfectly. More goofy poseage!
The stuff:
I like geometric shapes, especially spirals, snakey shapes (um, would that be because my initial is "S"?), circles, and most of my jewelry that I wear on a regular basis has that shape.
I'm getting the mind control stare from both of the cats:
Holy moly, I'm so nervous about my speech tomorrow. I'm in Toastmasters and this will be my 5th speech...and I chose to do it on something very personal. I am hoping that I don't cry. There's no crying in Toastmasters!
I'll post the speech tomorrow if it goes well.
"I'm cool, I'm calm, I'm going to be okay!"
"I'm cool, I'm calm, I'm going to be okay!"
Dress (I.N.C.), tights (Hue), boots (Expressions), necklace (unknown), earrings (don't remember).
Yes, you look like a million bucks! I love this dress and the rockin pose! Good luck with your speech tomorrow. I'm sure you will do just fine :)
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your speech! And you look like a million bucks...that bold pattern is fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAlso, your cats...too funny for words! I don't get an evil stare from my dog...I get something unsavory in or near my shoe. Which is very catlike, actually.
That dress is killer! And if it's comfy too, it's pushing perfect. Break a leg tomorrow, lady. You'll do GREAT.
ReplyDeleteAlison: it's so nice when you have dresses that feel so comfy. You'll have to take another picture next time you wear your outfit!
ReplyDeleteHillary: thanks so much!
Erica: thank you! And I swear the cats really are trying to do mind control. Fortunately, they rarely give us "gifts".
Sal: thanks!
Haha! Very cute! :)

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! i did toastmasters when i was in highschool but i'm such a chicken it kinda didn't work too well for me, i got so nerve wrecked i had to quit...i know i'm late, but i'm sure your speech was great :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lady D! I've been wanting to shake up the poses for a while now - I just get lazy.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to get up in front of people and speak, but I'm getting better at it as I get older.
Wow! Awesome dress on you and the accessories are perfection.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leigh-Anna!
