I got my Level 1 Beginners certificate at aikido tonight - it was cool practising with the "big kids" (shout out to the awesome ladies at the dojo!). This is what I wear - tres fashionable.
Yeah, maybe not so much. Both of those clothing items were hauled out of the giveaway bag because a) the top is faded and b) the pants are too big.
Thank goodness I balanced my fashion karma with this much nicer shade of green:
I felt very girly in this. Swingy skirt, the fab shoes, the bit of a sparkle with the sequined cami. I love the sleeves on this sweater.
The stuff (forgot the belt but it's a grey faux python):
Man, I love those shoes.
Guess who was hiding in the corner of the top picture?
Inigo!
Sweater (Studio Max), skirt (Tobias), belt (Bianca Nygard), shoes (Fluevog), hose (Hue), bracelet (silent auction), earrings (Plum).
Man, I love those shoes too!! In fact I don't think I have seen a pair on your blog that I don't covet :-) The second green is a good colour for you and those sleeves are a great shape.
ReplyDeleteIs aikido an energetic martial art or a gentle one? I don't know anything about it at all.
Congrats on your aikido progress! And totally dig the swingy skirt and those great poufed sleeves.
ReplyDeleteThe shoes from Tuesday were simply amazing as were the coloured beads. Can go with so many things. loved them! Bonnie
ReplyDeleteLove the green sweater on you! The sleeves and the swigny skirt bottom flatter your figure!
ReplyDeleteI wore a green sweater today too!

Congratulations on your aikido certificate! Oh that style shoe is so elegant. Just yesterday I purchased (no, not sending any shopping vibes your way!) a white and tan coloured pair and I just keep looking at them.
ReplyDeleteI feel the love for the shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leanne. I'm an avid shoe collector.
Aikido is a non-striking martial art; it uses the attacker's energy against him to disable him.
Thanks, Alison!
I do love a swingy skirt, Sal, thanks!
Thanks, Bonnie! I have to say, I was a bit disappointed that you didn't get to see them in person.
Thanks, LeeHovey! I will check out your blog.
Hey, Mervat, a tan and white pair would be divine. Don't just look at them, girl, wear them!
Congrats! Always knew you were kick-ass cool ;)
ReplyDeleteHeh, thanks, Kayleigh!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Cute kitteh.
ReplyDeleteI love that color green. Is this post perchance named after the Nickle Creek song "Green and Grey"?
ReplyDeleteHe's the cutest kitty evah!
ReplyDeleteCat, I have never heard of that group or song, sorry. No, just my terribly imaginative title.
