One and a Half Outfits

Everything seems to be taking so much more effort than usual. I just want to sleep. Zzzz...
But no, must go to work.

  • Lacy top - Express, thrifted; last seen here in January layered under leather
  • Dress - Comrags, thrifted; last worn here in November 2017 with blues
  • Shoes - Star Wars by Irregular Choice; purchased here for $190.00
  • Coat (below) - Danier Leather, consignment; last seen here in January

I'm not feeling this dress anymore. It doesn't have pockets and the material means I always have to wear a top under it or the wool is all scratchy on my arms.
As blurry as I feel
The belt broke and fell off soon after I arrived at work. All my clothes are making a break for it!
Blah, just a black dress with speckles. Yawn.

I like the orange leather jacket - it also doesn't have pockets, but I can live with it.
It got very warm out today - didn't need the gloves or the jacket by this afternoon.

The stuff:
Star Wars shoes! First wear, very comfy.

Space bling:
Sure, those earrings and ring totally evoke space!

  • Earrings - can't remember
  • Lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes

I'm a little ragged by the end of the day, my hair's all stringy and needs a brush. I'm off to see "Phantom Thread" with Elaine shortly.
"There is no food in my bowl, Woman."
Not putting a lot of effort in there...

  • Dress - Joe Fresh, thrifted; last seen here (2nd outfit, after the VFF stuff) in February
  • Cowboy boots - 1883 Lucchesse, consignment; last worn here...same time as the dress! I'm so original...
  • Coat (below) - Danier Leather; last seen here last week

Basically half an outfit. I didn't even put tights on.
"Maybe there's food over here..."
 Bare legs! Alert the media!
"The food is still in the sink! Feed me now!"
Same earrings too. I have no energy for an outfit tonight.

  2. While you might worry you didn't have a lot of effort for your second outfit, it looks nice! The beauty of a great dress I think! It's a shame you weren't enjoying the first one though. it is a nice dress, but how you feel while wearing it is more important than how it looks I think!

  3. I am totally in love with your first outfit and your Serbasar skirt, and your Star Wars shoes are great. I see Vizzini is checking out the bare leg look before you leave :-) That’s a great idea for storing your cuffs. wow, Kailani is a star in the making. A big awww for Vizzini’s little paw, I like the photos of him.

  4. I love the orange leather jacket with the Star Wars shoes! And I love your Joe Fresh dress too! Bare legs, brr. I'm not even attempting that until May ... I recently bought a very similar coat, only mine is pleather and it's from Zara, but thrifted, of course! And Vizzini's photobombing again, I see ... xxx

    1. They go so well, don't they? Must put more effort into a better outfit for the shoes, though. I regretted the bare legs later!

  7. Oh honey, I feel for you. I'm wanting to rush ahead to see how quickly you recover from what'er ails you. Nothing clotheswise will make any difference to how you feel I'm afraid.
