Basically Black - Sequins, Locks and Keys

Wait a minute! Who is that woman in black? What have you done with Sheila?
Let's all just settle down - sometimes I do wear black. It's not always "all colour, all the time" in my world, you know.

  • Blouse - Elite International, vintage early 80s, thrifted; purchased here for $10.95 a couple of weeks ago
  • Trousers - Talbots, thrifted; last seen here in September with flame
  • Shoes - Guess; last worn here in June with a crazy leather top

I liked this outfit overall, but this is really too much black for me. I felt a little blah (and I definitely didn't get many comments on my outfit), and I did miss the colour.
Today was the first wearing of this outrageous 80s blouse - it was wonderful. Next time, I'll wear it with colour.

The stuff:
Probably the most boring shoes I own, but they are pretty sweet. I love the shape.

Shiny bling:
One more week to December - nearly time to bust out the glittery stuff!

  • Earrings - Jacob
  • Crystal ring - Uffizi Gallery gift shop
  • Death Star ring - Soul Flower

And one more day for me, and then it's a long weekend! L and I always take the US Thanksgiving off to watch football with friends.

  1. I have to take a moment to settle down (I am old) - this all black is fabulous and suits you beautifully (well, everything does with your magic touch). Happy Thanksgiving, go Panthers! xox

  3. It's good to come across someone else who struggles to feel right in black - I too feel blah in black. You, however, do look very very classy in black and this overall look is chic, tres, tres chic. I love the sleek pants, and beaded shirt, in fact all of the elements are fab. And all the extra sparkle is gorgeous too.

  4. Oh, yes, it's fun to flex the range, keep people guessing. This black outfit looks great, especially the pattern on the pants. It's a good thing Vizzini is black too!

  5. I'm with Patti on the loving the almost mono-chromatic blackness you got going on here. Reminds me of your leopard week, I really like it my dear!

  6. It's certainly not the usual Sheila, BUT I LOVE IT ! It gives your hair the opportunity to be the focus of attention.
