I've been wanting to wear my culottes for a while now.
I'm not sad, this is pensive! Pensive, dammit! |
- Shirt - LL Bean, consignment; first worn here with chrysanthemums in April
- Culottes - Jac Dale, vintage 80s, thrifted; last seen here
- Shoes - Enzo Angiolini, consignment; last worn here (4th outfit) in August 2014 for a wee shopping expedition
I only paid $4.00 for these culottes a couple of years ago - I've worn them at least 6 times, so down to less than a buck a wear.
Can't touch this |
As always when I wear a white blouse to work, I get people craning their necks over my desk to see what interesting thing I'm wearing on the bottom. I hope I did not disappoint.
The stuff:
I did a super-fast 30-second pedicure this morning to change my yellow nails to green to go with my outfit. Yellow would have been okay, but green is better, don't you think?
I will be sad when these shoes die.
Shiny bling:
All the circles!
- Cage cuff - Bauxo
- Solid cuff - thrifted
- Ring - Nine West
- Earrings - gift from Lise
Of to my WW group! I only have 2 more weeks of my Tuesday meeting, and then I shift to just Thursdays. I've been doing both since March, which has felt like a really long time. I've missed my free evening - and L!
Pensive? I say petulant!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is this outfit is sheer awesomeness. So on trend, and as usual, great styling of all pieces from head to toe! Love it...
ReplyDeleteDo you have a target cost per wear?
ReplyDeleteI adore those green culottes! The white shirt is a perfect balance for them.
ReplyDeleteSTashworth, nope, but it's satisfying when it gets down to less than a dollar! Especially when I actually really like the piece.
ReplyDeleteI love that you are known for your great sense of style even in your office Sheila! :)
ReplyDeleteGreen culottes - I've got some of those! Love the colour and the styling here, Sheila, you look fab! xxx
ReplyDeleteI love your pensive pose!
ReplyDeleteLike a waiter? Hahaha. Never.
I have issues with culottes.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing them on others but when it comes to me its s no-no, I got rid of my last pair a few years ago.
Now I am looking at yours and I am tempted...
