I fell in love with these shoes after seeing them on a previous post of yours. I have kept an eye out for them and saw a similar pair recently, but to my annoyance, they had a very shiny brass buckle which took so much away from the shoe. Hopefully a pair like these will show up someday, but I won't hold my breath! :-(
ReplyDeleteI love faux fur too.
ReplyDeleteI always remember in my PETA days wearing a T-shirt that screamed "Fur is worn by beautiful animals and ugly people"
It didn't go down too well with my mother n law to be who owned several real fur coats.
How to Win Friends and Influence People. Not!
Thanks, guys!
ReplyDeleteI got the shoes in a boutique in a small town while on vacation last summer. Who'd've thought?
I'm not anti-fur (I'd be a hypocrite, since I wear leather), but I think the animals should be raised and treated humanely. Fur is an industry that is (somewhat) being revived in Canada lately. I still wouldn't buy any, though.
Yeah, the faux fur collar is tricky to wear. I tend to keep the bottoms simple - this is my first try at a more modern look with it.
oooh pretty! I saw you on Jane's blog and thought I'd stop by!
ReplyDeleteyou look lovely (as always)! And that skirt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Lady D!
ReplyDeleteWelcome, Christina Lee!
Love this outfit - work the faux fur and those shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cat!
