Another bunch of as-yet-unworn capsule items! Huzzah!
That's a lot of red. Good thing I have a tropical print on to break it up.- Jacket - Vero Moda in blue, thrifted; first worn here in January with pinks
- Dress - Talbots, consignment; first worn here in November 2015 for a trip to the dentist
- Shoes - Marc; just worn here just two days ago, with red, pink and burgundy
The hardest thing about a capsule is the shoes - I always want different shoes! I hate wearing the same ones twice in the same week.
I may have twirled a few times in this lovely flowy dress, both in the office and for my WW members. It's just that kind of dress. It also has pockets - win!
It's been so warm this week that I didn't even wear a jacket today - this was it! I did have a scarf/gloves on the way to work, but walking to my WW meeting, I actually left the jacket open. Gawd, I love spring! I must take some pictures of the pink blossoms this week.
The stuff:
I love these shoes, even though I'm grouching about them.
Navy blue bling:
A blue obi, blue ring and blue on the earrings.
- Obi - Bennetton, thrifted
- Lapis lazuli ring - Wendy Brandes
- Earrings - thrifted
And now...I need some wine! And dinner! Where's my husband?
A dress with pockets that makes you want to twirl - how blooming perfect is that? And what's this about spring has sprung, surely you're getting a bit ahead of yourself? Although we did have a full 6 hours of sunshine here today, so are maybe not far behind you x

This outfit I really, really like on you.
ReplyDeleteTalbots always has some of the best reds I've noticed. Gorgeous dress.
ReplyDeleteAlthough a world apart, we are also feeling relief at the moving of the seasons. Summer is our toughest season here due to the debilitating heat. Although the long days are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWe venture outside before and after the sun like little rabbits. Although the mozzies can be a problem.
Gorgeous swirly red dress
Focussing the room's energy
The dancing epicentre.

You're ready for my summer !
ReplyDeleteI can imagine you walking on the street here...
Tip to toe LOVE! I'll be singing Lady in Red all day today!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Beautiful outfit!
ReplyDeleteA twirly skirt with pockets - sounds just perfect to me. The jacket really sets the red dress and shoes off beautifully as does the obi.

Spring?? You have spring over there?? Gosh it is still very cold out here. Your dress and floral jacket make it spring though. Looks good. Terrific shoes. As ever.
