Happy Weekend! I've had a lovely, relaxing time. A lot of it involved fringe.
All the fringe!- Topper - Design Lab by Lord & Taylor; last seen here in November 2015 with red leather pants
- Sleeveless sweater - August Silk, thrifted; last worn here in December 2015 with the great Muppet skirt
- Suede skirt - Pioneer Wear, thrifted; first worn here in November 2015
- Shoes - Poetic Licence; last seen here with this topper in November 2015
Today has been nothing but football - I'm lounging around in my jeans and jersey. My beloved Carolina Panthers are going to the Super Bowl! We won today! Woo! There will be much bragging in the office tomorrow.
I wore this outfit to brunch on Saturday morning, followed by a quick run of errands with L. After a lovely nap in the afternoon, we headed out to Janet & Ray's for a 6-person dinner party that ended with dancing in the kitchen. All the fringe on the skirt and the topper moved most satisfactorily.
Swoosh-o-rama! I'm linking up to Patti's "Visible Monday" over at Not Dead Yet Style. Get over there!
The stuff:
We bused to dinner, but ended having to walk for 15 minutes as the bus didn't go that far on Saturdays. Fortunately, these shoes are fine for walking.
- Cuff - Guess, thrifted
- Red cuff - Rimanchik
- Earrings - gift from Megan
And now I shall bask in victory for two weeks, until my team faces the Denver Broncos in the big game. Whatever shall I wear?
i really like your kimono, and the fringe on fringe action! :)
ReplyDeleteI always feel unsure about wearing kimonos with skirts, being short I'm not sure it's the right proportions, although I am warming up to it and I've tried it a few times.
I should try my maxi length one with them next time (maybe when it cools a little here!). Thanks for the inspiration :)
Congrats on your Panthers. I live in Arizona, but not in Phoenix, and I have never really switched over from being a Vikings fan after moving down here 27 years ago. But oh my, that walloping did hurt a smidgeon. At least I could think about how happy it was making you! How fun to have your team make the Super Bowl. I am sure we'll all be rooting for them/you.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit too!
Enjoy your day of gloating. . .
yay panthers! Isn't Cam something else? Love your fringes, they are fun to look at and fun for you to twirl in. xo

Fabulous fringe styling! That piece is a work of fashion art.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & happy last week of January wishes,

Totally digging this outfit - what a fab skirt! The only interest I had in the football game was that it ran late which meant I had to wait til 10:25 pm to watch the first episode of the new X-Files....
ReplyDeleteOooooo I can just imagine you swishing about in a most satisfactory manner as you danced in this fringed frippery. Utterly divine, darling! And a big sigh of envy about those shoes aaahhhh x
