What a change from yesterday! It's rainy and gloomy today. I dressed appropriately.
All favourite things!- Leather shirt - Danier Leather, thrifted; last seen here in November 2014
- Skirt - Dolce & Gabbana, thrifted; last worn here in February for a brunch and shopping trip
- Boots - Marc; last worn here in March with turquoise and a lacy top
I will not lie - I was roasting in this for most of the day! Despite the rain, it was actually really warm out; far too warm to have worn a raincoat on top of this.
I love this leather shirt, but didn't get much wear out of it last year. I am much happier with the fit of it since I lost a few pounds.
I might have invited my coworkers to gawk at this magnificent skirt. I still giggle with glee that I found Dolce & Gabbana (trimmed with Persian lamb, no less) for $6.00 in a thrift store!
The stuff:
I freakin' love these boots. I walked to and from the other office in them today. Fab.
Shiny silver bling:
I love clean lines in my jewelry.
- Necklace - thrifted
- Death Star ring - Soul Flower
- Shield ring - Nine West
I'm actually writing this post in this outfit.
L and I are going out for dinner in a little over an hour. I'm blogging then doing some WW training while I wait for the cleaning lady to do her thing.
- Dress - Elie Tahari, consignment; first worn here in August with pops of aqua
- Shoes - Diesel, consignment; last seen here (2nd version of the same outfit) in June for an Urbanite in purple leopard
- Accessories - as above (rings)
This is what happens when you set the timer and the camera is in close-up mode.
Um, yup.
It's actually lighter out now than it was this morning!
"Is that lady coming over again?" |
"Is that her at the door? I better skedaddle!" |
I like both outfits. And congrats on having a cleaning person. We have one now too and our house is so much cleaner than before.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I love both pairs of footwear you wore today.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a lovely dinner! Your dress is beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI've done the overdressing when it looks cold and rainy out thing too, too many times, haha!
How chic does that leather shirt look with your D&G skirt? Very! And the dress is a perfect fit, you look fab! xxx
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, having someone to help around the house is a little lux.
ReplyDeleteAnd this last dress was a bargain indeed, beautiful print and fit.
Happy Birthday Sheila !
