Wow, it totally feels like Monday. I hate mid-week holidays.
But I looked fabulous! I adore this stripey dress! It was freezing (but clear) today and I was so happy to have double-knit 70s polyester to keep me snuggly warm.

ReplyDeleteLove the stripe on stripes look! I used to have a similar pair of striped tights (they got a hole in them quickly sadly!) and I was never this adventurous with them. A missed opportunity!

ReplyDeleteWhy, oh WHY can't SOMEone start making these simple knit dresses again? Of course I had a couple of the "first run" ones in the 60's and 70's but of course got rid of them long ago....NOT THAT THEY'D EVER FIT ME NOW! Just think of all the ways to re-fashion such a tog! And, of course, YOU accessorized and wore your striped dress beautifully!

Love the horizontal/vertical stripe thing. I like those heavier knit dresses that hugged your body, but had enough substance to smooth you out, unlike the cheap, ridiculously thin ones that are made now.
