Monday already? Man, how does that happen?
I am feeling in the pink! Ha, get it? Ha, I kill myself. Seriously, that's a whole lotta pink going on."Under the word "brocade" in the dictionary, there's a picture of that coat," said one of my coworkers. Yup, this jacket exemplifies brocade.
- Dress - Jacob, consignment; just purchased yesterday here
- Coat - Aldo, thrifted; last seen here in April with cream and pink
- Shoes - Two Lips, thrifted; last seen here in August with my chambray dress
I tallied up all my clothing items for one of my coworkers:
- Coat: $24.95
- Dress: $10.00
- Shoes: $2.00 (that's not a typo)
The dress did well on its first wear. It's pretty light and summery, though, so I think I will store it away for now. I wish it had pockets. Other than that, it's a great dress, and I'm sure I'll wear it a lot in the summer.
The stuff:
Monday shoes - they've got to be comfy.
Red and pink bling:
Even though I keep saying I'm tired of this necklace, it keeps hanging around!
- Earrings - local
- Necklace - Plum
Woo hoo! Shoe Shine is on this Friday!
See you there!
I LOVE this coat Sheila! And I also love these grown-up shades of pink! You look very pretty in pink!
ReplyDeleteThe pink dress pairs so well with that coat! You definitely will get a lot of wear out of it in the warmer weather- such a nice cheerful colour! Although you do well at wearing colour all through the year I guess! :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely in the pink! Looking bright and sassy, Sheila, winter doesn't have to mean dark colours and heavy fabrics, does it? xxx
ReplyDeleteSo pretty in pink brocade! That jacket is a star and you wear it beautifully.
ReplyDeleteLots of pink going on, but I love it! The dress and coat go so well together! Shiny and fun!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteI've always been a fan of brocade - it exudes luxury in my book. Certainly that coat is an outstanding garment.
ReplyDeletePink and gold are so pretty together - love that coat!
