Queen of Aqua Leopard

Today I was feeling tired and worn out, and the best cure for that is a bright bold outfit.
These leopard trousers never fail to cheer me up and make me strut around like the Queen of Aqua Leopard.

  • Wool blazer - Elite "Patrol", vintage 80s, thrifted; first worn here in November 2024 with my Frankenskirt
  • Cotton sweater - Zara, consignment; last seen here (2nd outfit) in December 2024 for brunch in pinks and greys
  • Trousers - Gorman, consignment; last worn here in May 2024 with chartreuse and a black bustier
  • Suede shoes - Chanii B; last seen here in December 2024 with layered sweaters
  • Sleeveless coat (below) - Only, thrifted; last worn here on the weekend

I have worn these trousers five times since I got them in 2023. They are so awesome they stay out year-round in my closet.
I have been wanting to wear them for a while, so picked a day when I needed a little colourful armour.

I had a different black jacket ready to go with this, but it was a little longer and more attention-pulling.
Let's let the pants be the star.

Without the jacket, which I took off briefly after huffing up the stairs in the morning.
This neon sweater is short - it stops at the belt, it's not tucked in.

It's getting chillier and it was gorgeously sunny today - we had a spectacular sunset.
It was warm enough to do a sleeveless coat.

Accoutrements:
I did wish for a scarf on the way home.

  • Beret - Fair Set, vintage 90s, consignment
  • Leather studded gloves - Danier Leather

The stuff:
My shoes always get admirers - they're such a cool colour, and comfy too!

Black bling:
I liked how my new-ish enameled bracelet went with the trousers - I'll be wearing them together again.

  • Belt - gift from Ruth
  • Enamel/crystal cuff - Lauren G. Adams, consignment
  • Metal/glass flower brooch - vintage 60s, Mom's
  • Fly brooch - consignment
  • Lucite/gold hinged bangle/earrings - Alexis Bittar, consignment, gift from L
  • Brass ball necklace - consignment
  • Brass leopard ring - thrifted
  • Turquoise/gold ring - consignment

I wore the flower brooch on my coat's lapel, and the fly on my blazer.

  4. Mmm, what a delightfully colorful and cozy looking outfit, perfect for providing a pick-me-up and a sense of being cocooned. I love the combo of all the pieces and accessories. I had to look closely to see the sleeveless coat because it blended so well with the blazer!
